Only the rear views of that famous Thai Street Market deserves a 100 out of 10
Not bad is it Pedro 😎
"Street" market 😂
Very interesting train ride. Incredible that there aren't more deaths or injuries. The scenery is great and the rear window views priceless. Thanks Max💚😀
I know, it's quite remarkable Scott 😂
@@NonstopEurotrip 😀😀💚💚👌👌
I was there about 3 years ago. And it does super cool. I can still smell and feel it. So unique experience.
Absolutely 🤗
That shot with the train going over is 10/10 well done man! Seems like an very interesting street would like to visit
Definitely worth while 🥰
Another excellent video with a great variety of shots and brilliant editing. Very brave of you to put your camera on the track when you know what might drop down from the carriages 🤣
Thank you!!! Yeah I didn't think about that til afterwards 😂
I can't wait to see how this video turns out. I think this will be a very interesting video that I've never seen in videos on train review people that I watch.
Watch now 🙂
It certainly looked like an interesting ride to be sure. Like you, Matt, coming from a country with high sanitation protocols, I doubt I would purchase any food ingredients that are laid bare so close to the tracks. Your under carriage footage and closeness of the food boxes to the tracks solidifies my decision not to mention of course where train toilet waste empties. 🤨. Definitely makes for interesting “souvenir photos” though.
Haha yeah Rob, it was certainly an experience 🤣 I loved it tho, very cool 😎
Magnificent award winning video.
Thanks Sam 🙂
I am Thai and I got to say, that shot on the underframe of the DMU was pretty cool. Could you ride the aircon train to Chiangmai?
I've done it already 🙂
Some very imaginative camera shots, I loved the sky view one showing all the awnings being pulled back.
Glad you liked it Ian 🙏🏻
Thanks so much for this. I lived in Bangbon, Bangkok for three years and during that time, I explored and experienced many wonderful things, many of which involved Thai rail.
Oh my god, that little snippet of footage where the smoke is wafting through the umbrellas as you passed by! I could taste it.
Mmmm.
Geez I miss food shopping in the wet markets!
Glad you enjoyed it ☺️
Great video mate - probably my favourite of yours and I’ve put this on my bucket list for next years plans now! Cheers 👍
Thanks mate! When you're on holiday from unblocking those drains 👍🏻
Great video! By the way - some years ago the tracks were refurbished and during that time the trains were transported to maintenance depot by truck to get overhauled as well
They don't look very overhauled 😂😂😂
@@NonstopEurotrip you should have seen them before....
@@iks77 😂😂😂
@@NonstopEurotrip i mean the guys in the maintenance shop are really good - here is some video how they refurbish a DMU... quite impressive what they get out of a factual wreck ua-cam.com/video/yl3FTSHCGE/v-deo.html
Wow! An under train vantage point! That's the most unique one of all the videos I've seen about this train market!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Never thought nonstop eurotrip would ever make it to my home😄. Great work as always!
Love Bangkok 😍😍😍
Excellent video - informative and entertaining as always. Thank you.
Something different eh 👍🏻
Brings back pleasant memories of many past visits, albeit to the non tourist part of S.
Thailand
Glad you enjoyed it Mick 😀
Amazing footage, thanks for sharing.
Bet you were happy to retrieve the go-pro intact from under the train once it passed!
I was very happy 🤣🤣🤣
Love the video. We visited this market a couple of years ago, by chance. Saw the whole thing. It's really very interesting.
Isn't it 😍
it is better to travel hopefully, than to arrive!
please keep up the good work, your vlogs are GREAT. !!!
I guess 🧐🤣
That's a great VDO of the Train Market. The train trip makes a great (but rather long !) day trip from Bangkok. 👍🚂
Take the bus home for a shorter day lol
@@NonstopEurotrip Yes. I took the train back to Bangkok, which made it a VERY long and tiring day (but we'll worth it though !). 👍
Great video as always mate, loved watch it and train passing through these markets was very interesting to watch and quite unique but at the same time need to be very cautious and avoid getting hit by train and the rear view was amazing.🤩
Thanks Rahill! Hope you're enjoying your time in Canada 😎🙏🏻
Really liked this video, Cheers :)
Thanks bro 😀
Definitely a must-ride.
For sure 😊
Amazing on how a railway line that was built to pass through the busy streets and market stalls which is still today a tourist attraction.
Imagine that in the UK 🤣🤣🤣
Yep 👍
Thank you. This market is insane! How wonderfully insane 🙂
It really is! 😂
Wow,It is so amazing how they pull there awnings in and move there market food to make way for the trains. Thanks for sharing.I really enjoyed it.Keep up the great work.🙂Safe travels
Thanks Jack's mum! Glad you liked it 😊 Check out my Bergensbanen video from Norway for some amazing snowy views 🙏🏻 🇳🇴
The ingenuity and resourcefulness at the market setup is amazing.
Isn't it just 😂
Amazing camera work! And what a fascinating trip. Thank you!
Glad you liked it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Cool video!👌😉
😎😎😎
I really liked the shot with the camera under the tracks
Thanks! That means a lot ☺️
Great shots of the Train!
Glad you enjoyed them 😊
That's awesome footage. And awesome experience. Thanks for sharing. I like your work
Glad you enjoyed it Sonya! 🙂
Brilliant views!
Oh yessssssss 🥰
I took the first train way back 20-30 years ago. It was the exact same rolling stock then. I walked down to the ferry but I didn't cross over.
There is like a fish market. Customers sit on the banks of river and ladies will float with boat and they will cook on the boat. Then serve on the river banks. Can't exactly pinpoint that market, but it also closes a bit early. So, it probably make sense for early riders.
I've been!
I had never heard of this adventure. Thank you for an amazing video
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Stainless steel fluting looks just like Amtrak's Budd-built Amfleet cars. Excellent video color and definition.
And the SJ2000 in Sweden 🙂
I think its Daegu from Korea.
This is a must-try for me. For sure,I will take this train when I visit Bangkok next time. After getting off, I'll load up my belly with amazing Thai street foods
Excellent Luke! It's well worth it ☺️
Insane! Out of interest, are there any figures for annual fatalities on the line? Great video though - loved the track level pics at the end - well played!
Glad you liked it Bob! No fatalities afaik! 😎
its pretty slow moving so It would be very hard to get killed
That was very cool!
An amazing experience ☺️
Nice video! That second train, is it used by commuters, or is it mostly for tourists. 4x a day doesn’t seem like a lot of service…
Both, but mainly tourists 😎
It depends on the time of the day and I guess the 2nd morning train is the most popular with tourists because of timing. I took the 1:30pm train to Mae Klong and the train was no more than 20% full, with just a few tourists.
I use to go to Mahachai market for long time (like 5 year ago) railway track market section didn't exist before.
ahha nice video :)= 13 year in thailand and never been there , dammm i need to go :)
Yes! You definitely do 😎😂
Amazing to see thanks.
👍🏻😎
Thanx a lot for this video😃
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
At 5:30, That is Wutthakat train stop. It is connected with Wutthakat BTS station to make it more convenient to commute into downtown. In the future, a new SRT Dark Red Line commuter train will be constructed to connect with BTS here.
Thanks for the information ☺️
Ah I was there over 4 years ago, only the first part, cause of time . Hope I can do the total track next feburary😀
The second bit is the best 😌
Wow it's really amazing market.I'm from Myanmar and in our country, the trains are so much old and so dirty and yes toilets are open directly to the railway.Myanmar's trains are so slow and it takes 20 hours for 300 miles. So that's the reason nobody want to ride train in our country.Instead they ride bus.I hope my country will get full democracy one day and also hope that we will ride high speed trains.
I'd like to ride the trains in your country ☺️
This train line is planned to be replaced by a new electrified line in the future, with new commuter service like the red lines opened recently (Bangsue-Rangsit/Bangsue-Talingchan) and new southern SRT lines. Downside is this upgrade is likely many decades in the future.
Not for a while, yeah 👍🏻
Good news! I'll still have a chance to ride it a second time! 😄
That was odd, but very, very cool.
Ikr 🤣
Fantastic. thanks
🤗🤗🤗
🚈👍Nice video, 🚶Good job 👌🖐️
Have a nice day ☀️☕✋

Glad you enjoyed the video 😊

Absolutely!
Tren de Bangkok ~ Klong tren Mae 🚞 Tailandia 🇹🇭 Train crosses Mae Klong market THAILAND
AND Maia Chai
Surabaya have like that
Good video to traval
Thanks for visiting 👋🏻
Great video. Finally you made it. And surprising me there are two railway markets, but only one which very well-known. Actually there is Frontage road crossing that river, but that's bit longer time rather than using River Ferry. I'm curious, from Malaysia to Thailand, are you flying or Overland trip?
Glad you liked it! I flew this time as I was meeting friends and had vouchers to use but I will be doing the train soon 😃
16:53 So beautiful 17:16 How did you dare ?🤣👍👍👍
Anything for the video 😄
May I suggest you give more time to read the double lined captions. English is my first language and lucky to read 4-5 words. Never able to make to the second line.
I always give myself time to read the captions twice, and have only had 2 other complaints in 10 million views....
@@NonstopEurotrip I believe you on your editing. At my end when streaming 'some' flash on for only about 2-3 seconds then go to the next scene. Many do not take the time to comment. Just as with those who view are far more than the thumbs up or down. Thanks for your time and efforts.
Is the gauge 1000 mm?
Yes!
What a tourist trap!
I wonder if the vendors insist that the government keep the train running as it's a tourism money maker and not really about transportation, is it?
But an excellent video nonetheless.
Still pretty cheap and great fun 😊
I DIDN’t know that thai trains go 69 km/h lol😂
Why?
That's a very good question ❓🤔
Funny that they do not move these traders along the railway to a safer and better location.
And lose all the tourists?!
You can keep it...yuk.
Not a fan, Paul? 😂
The tourists ruining it all, as usual
I agree it never was a tourist attraction it was a locals thing and a handful of curious rail fans would go there
They should run more trains tbh, and it wouldn't be so crazy then for each one
@@NonstopEurotrip I don't think they could afford that, and that wasn't my point. The tourists make it appear fake, and that takes away the charm
Nice vid and good camera angles.
Thanks John 😊
@@NonstopEurotrip keep up good work bro.
the view out the back is more interesting as the market closes around the train. The mahachai line was my regular commuter line for almost 6 years so I know that line very well and many of its staff. Its interesting to see that the market at mahachai station has grown bigger never used to have so much on the tracks only maeklong station had the railway market. There are some good but old videos of these lines by user thaitransit
Completely agree Nick! But have been an interesting commute 🙏🏻😂
