I love their 1st fight. Lots of history with these two.
Yes, including during Inferno too, but that was a Sabretooth clone in UXM #243
Finally!!! Love this issue!❤
Haha, cool!
@@comicsbazaar4508 I was a huge Psylocke fan at that time and for me it was a landmark issue so, I really appreciate this❤️
This issue is when Joe Mad hit his creative stride was smoking Hot! & was really intro ducing new effects that had'nt been done in mavel comics before or since! Great Review! @comicsbazaar
Thanks!
I think I missed this one as a kid but I think this leads to a subplot of Angel and Wolverine going to Japan to find a way to save/resurrect Psylocke.
That rings a bell, Benjamin
yup! ur right issues #329-#330...#329 is the issue where they introduce full on digital art in the issue with the Ghost Ninja! Joe MAd & the creative team he was working with was really pushing the limit! & it was great to see in comics at that time they were really ahead of the game!!
Interesting backstory on the cover. Crazy how the times have changed 😕.
The times are always changing, and they'll change again, I'm sure
All very Dramatic! Love these Episodes!
Excellent, Dario!
One of my favorites.
Glad you enjoyed revisiting it, Peter!
This will forever be one of my favorite books! I've never looked at the cover in that way. Could've been much worse, like Fank Quidley's New X-Men cover of Emma Frost. That's been bought just for the cover
Oh, I have that Frank Quitely X-Men issue too! It was a tad risqué!
Another great issue. I totally agree with your words. Great team. Excellent writing and the art is top-notch. I can remember not appreciating Madureia's art at the time when i first read this. I wanted Marvel to go more realistic. Now, I see it for the mastery that it is. There's a great deal of action with this one and it's flow is effortless. Can i also agree with the comment from @machofreak123 which I'm guessing he's talking about the no-kill rule? This is not the current status in the xmen. Real heroes to me are good and aren't killers. I know this is a long message but i'm going to end it by saying that i have just rebagged my entire X-Men and uncanny collection. I have a lot of their comics and they have pumped brillance for ages. Thanks for all your work.@comicsbazaar!
You're most welcome, Jeffrey!
Thus ends the chapter of Sabretooth living in the mansion for almost 2 years of publication! So many X-Men have had a run-in with Sabes during that time; Bishop, Jubilee, Jean, Rogue, Gambit, and now Boomer and Psylocke. While it made for great fight scenes and delving into the psychology of a deranged man like Creed, it did also kinda make it seem like Prof X was trying to push a square peg into a round hole for all these months... which is exactly what he realizes at the end of last issue and the beginning of this one.
Haven't read the issues of X-Factor following this, where Sabretooth joins the team. If you have, are they any good?
I have the X-Factor issues, Ciaran, but I cannot remember anything from them. There's some great Epting art, if I'm not wrong. I might get around to reviewing them in due course.
I always felt sabertooth was treated like a joke as a villain in the movies and tv. This issue made him look like a dangerous killer.
This is him, he's actually worse
The best comic I’ve read where sabertooth was shown just as good as a fighter as wolverine was against holocaust in the age of apocalypse series. He lost with his stomach ripped out, but a couple of comics later he was well and back in action fully healed
