I been down this street some of these structures still exist and contrary to the last of these built in 1919 new ones are being built all over the city on vacant lots where previously destroyed 3 Deckers once stood
I drove down bellflower st recently and the same 3 Deckers are still there I would have thought they would have been razed and the area would look a lot different it seems like I was there the day before the fire only the cars look different this could probably happen again
Can someone explain something? I've heard for years how Boston has been an expensive city to live in? If so why was the FD underfunded and what about the BPD?
What do they mean the last of these 3 Deckers were built in 1917 since the arson waves of the 80's and gentrification all over Boston I have seen several brand new3 Deckers built on all the vacant lots need more information why are they being built if fire codes do not permit them anymore by the way I even seen a couple of the new ones fire damaged the new ones burn just as briskly
MOVE ON. SAVE TIME. An amazing story that is very poorly done here. Nothing but low-budget content development with stock images and nonsense. No robot voice, thank you. Please, you can do a LOT better.
Greetings from Thailand. Thanks for posting and stay safe.
Always loved buffing Boston. The NY of New England. Awesome jakes.
The NY of New England? What does that even mean? Owen, think!! You sound dumb
@@leightongalleries6057 😆. I can't buff FDNY. Too far. Boston is closer. Not dumb.
Love the history. Please keep them coming.
This was in Leo Stapleton's book.
Great footage, I love Boston, the accents, Captain Flanagan ... I rented a 3rd floor apt. in a triple Decker in Portland Maine, lots of space.
Deputy Fire Chief Flanagan
3-Decker...
@@erikpettaway7659 nice place to live regardless
I was 10 years old. The busses stoped running.. I walked through the fire to get home.
The Bellflower fire was in Stapleton's awesome book.
Thank you.

Was getting a haircut in East Cambridge when this fire Broke out. I was 15 years old
Sounds like the narrator from the Ahrens-Fox video of the 1990s.
I would like to know if a cause for the initial fire was ever established?

It wasn’t expensive back then
I was 14 when my Dad took me to view the aftermath
Me too, I was 10, from Somerville. Don't you hate these pieces that are just nonsense? You should speak up about the quality of the content, no?
