Your videos aren't getting much views as compared to Shorts. Is this some sort of weird UA-cam thing, that it'll only recommend Shorts, and not videos from channels?

Yeah it's a known issue, and a lot of our UA-cam Shorts friends are facing the same issue. BUT we've been informed by the UA-cam team that they're working on it. They actually had to sever the links between Shorts and long-form when they first introduced Shorts because it broke the algorithm completely lol 😂 Now the algorithm team (or rather "Recommendations" team) are working to "bridge the gap" between Short form and long form content, so that loyal Shorts viewers are also recommended a creator's long form content - but there's still a long way to go!
