- In this video I described the process of active imagination leading to a painting. Creative process can be exciting as well as triggering some issues. I decided to do a little active imagination writing and I burst out crying. Turns out I have repressed my inner child even in the creatieve process.
I highly recommend trying out this amazing process of active imagination leading. We don’t know what’s inside of us until we knock.

@@domastalks All good :) I'm currently trialling active imagination alongside my songwriting. I have really struggled with creative blocks the last few years, just overanalysing everything and not feeling as inventive as I used to be as a child. It's really great just creating for the joy of something again!
@katieida5134 it is hard work, one thing which really helped me was a book by Julia Cameron called the Artist Way, opened my life to completely new experiences, could not recommend anything better but this book if you need to unblock yourself, its an on going process, so I really really could not recommend it more! It's nearly a year since I am writing my morning pages which I learnt from that book and it seriously have changed mine and a lot of peoples creative life :) Good luck :)
