Yay! I'm the 237th Subscriber! Hopefully I get to go to Canada, too. But first I'll buy that same mac mini here in Oman. It's cheaper at 519 rials and 0% interest 12 months installment.
Wow 😮! Thanks for subscribing and watching this video man. Looks like you’re a UA-camr too, eh? What’s your channel about? I believe anyone can come to Canada 🇨🇦 or go to any part of the world if you make it a must bro 💪🏼. 🤯 That’s amazingly affordable! I highly recommend getting a Mac Mini usb hub too so it’s easy to connect your USB in the front of your Mac Mini. All the best man!
Really appreciate you showing how you connected everything to the Mac Mini. Not many videos like that out there showing how you connect everything. Awesome video. If you do get a 3rd monitor please show. Would be great to see how the resolutions look.
Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and I appreciate your review! I honestly enjoyed connecting all my tech gear to my Mac Mini’s I/O’s so I figured to share that experience also. I’m glad you liked it. Oh yeah! Just saving up for my next monitor but I can’t wait to do that. Happy Holidays!
Thumbs up #40, LOL! Awesome setup. I hope you don't have the issues I had with updating system to Sonoma. Question, any reason you didn't go with a Mac Studio on sale? After issues with Sonoma I changed my M2 Pro Mac mini I went with Mac Studio instead of ordering another Mac mini m2 Pro. Both are awesome and honestly Mini Pro would have been fine, but for $500 more I do like the 32gb RAM and the front ports including the SD card reader which will most likely stop working at some point as I have heard, LOL!
Thanks bro!!! My update to Sonoma was actually not bad. Congrats on your Mac Studio! Oh, man! Tell me about it. I was actually going to return my Mac Mini to get the Mac Studio instead but I was on vacation and my return policy was up. But I’m definitely considering the Mac Studio for next time.
I watched this review suspecting that like other reviewers you would have underspecified the RAM and the flash memory but you have not. You have the 16 Gb of RAM that everyone should buy to get a balanced high performance system and as you rightly hint the more flash that you get the faster your system will be even if you do not need the storage. Because you have 16 GB of RAM and 1 Tb of flash you will not need to update your system for the same 6 years you delayed in updating you Intel MacBook.
Wow! Thanks Paul! I appreciate your review, tech knowledge and great attention to detail. I agree and really hope that this Mac Mini keep working for a while. All the best & happy holidays!
Oh, yes! I don’t really know about when using Premiere Pro & After Effects but I edit my 4K videos use in Final Cut Pro and it’s buttery smooth so far. Way better than my old MacBook pro. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching & commenting!
Love the way you think! You read my mind. I actually have one here which I still have to unbox. Too bad I can’t attach a pic here to show you. Thanks for the recommendation @elganjones01!
@@floridalove1Oh, very smart 👍! It’s such a game changer, eh? I still keep plugging and unplugging my usb cables to and from the i/o’s in the back of the mac mini and it’s so inefficient 😅. I promise to unbox and use my Satechi hub soon. Thanks for reminding me 😊.
@@jeffryesmeralda It's definitely a game changer. I don't want to miss it anymore. I would have had to pay Apple €800 for the additional 2 TB of storage. For this one, which I built into the hub, I paid only €133!
Big mistake getting a 16GB unit. yes cost a lot to go 32GB but one should not be running 16GB at this stage. Also limit of mini are not limited, 2018 with a eGPU and 64GB is a monster workstation at a fraction of the cost. 512 vs 1TB does not increase anything. SSD is what makes the new OS X work and perform. So unless there is a big spec difference in the micro SSD drives it shouldn't matter you performance is alway going to improve with memory. Most mini a far back as even 2009 run just as fine with external boot drives vs internal so if storage is an issue just boot to external disk(ssd). Free advice best option is the M2 pro 32GB 10GBnic 512SSD 12 core for 2k, but suggest so close to 2024 release, wait. If you don't have a mini now few months is not going to hurt to wait. Ports are a none issue since any thunderbolt port expander is fine. Video speed is only good for the creator, if you think about the audience the average user will not be running 8k or larger display and even 4k 240 so unless your clients demand 8k video Hz is a non factor.
On release I got the 12 core cpu/19 core gpu m2pro Mac mini. I use an M1 mini as a NAS and a backup with an AVB setup. I will be moving to a M3 Max MBP I think since I have no portability. you will be nothing but happy going from your old laptop.
🤯 Wow!!! Looks like your setup is insane! It seems like you have a serious operation, Black Lily. I can’t wait to hear about your M3 Max. I totally agree. I’m so happy with my Mac Mini so far since it only stays in my office, and I can still use my laptop for when I go to coffee shops or travel. I’m still thinking 🤔 of getting the Mac Studio Ultra but maybe in the future 😊.
got to finish paying off the car first :) Although I can't recommend enough an actual powered TB4 hub or dock. OWC or Pluggable make excellent hubs for full TB4 speeds if you are using thunderbolt external NVME storage.@@jeffryesmeralda
For anyone wondering, you just have to put your keyboard and mouse into Bluetooth pairing mode. No need to actually plug in. Nice video.
Oh, man! I wish I knew that when I was setting it up. Thanks Sammy!
Excellent advice and comment! 👍👍👍
I was hoping for a M3 Mac Mini this year. But Apple let me down.
Sorry to hear that @JayzBeerz. Hopefully they release it next year. Would love to know once you get yours. All the best!

If really concern about video you should not be using HDMI but rather thunderbolt. HDMI is a down scaler to 4k and higher resolution and speed.
Nah why do u have so low in subscribers bro u definitely deserve more. Good luck 🍀 😔
😊 Thanks 🙏 a lot! I’m creating and releasing more content soon, so I hope my subscribers will keep growing. But I’m ok with enjoying the process 😉.

Is this more than sufficient for editing 4k video pretty smoothly? I use Premiere, and occasionally use After Effects?
Thank you in advance!

Have a look at the SATECHI Type-C Stand & Hub with SSD Enclosure. Game changer with the option for extra internal memory

@@jeffryesmeralda Have also the SATECHI Hub with a 2 TB external memory. Works perfect and fits with the Mac Mini 2 wonderful.

Now the m3pro
