The rip off factor stands true for even people of Indian origin living overseas, who travel back. Every coin has two sides, I guess, this balances out the privileges that come along. A 2-year cool in before the OCI? -Wow, now that can be a struggle. While security tags are annoying, it's equally frustrating to see the level of shop lifting from retail stores in the west. More and more seems to get locked up as retailers try to curtail the amount of shrink. Unfortunately, no one wins these choices. Spam marketing gets me equally riled up. The amount of unsolicited messaging we experienced this last election here in the US, was a whole new level. Trying to sway people to vote one way or another was beyond annoying. We live in a competitive world that seems to change faster than some of us will adapt and perhaps not all for the better. Good insight though and you make some valid points.

No PDA is Victorian ERA British colonial leftover it’s not Indian culture.

No we are also ripped in road side store. You need to be a good in bargain. Generally Indian girls are better in bargain than boys.

PDA and wearing bikini on the beach is concept India will adopt. My daughter who is a scuba diver hates the fact that when in India she cant really wear 2 pc bikini …I told her it’s not illegal it’s something new for Indian prying eyes…if you don’t care wear what ever you want.

"When in Rome, do as the Romans do." When in India, do what the pauper Romans do.Hypocrisy.
Prying eyes !? Keep your body-display brothel culture to your foreign lands.
In winters when men's capri turns into full pants, these women turn into shorts, for what?
But please don't call them perverts or desperate, because only men can be perverts.

      @@nicolakiduniya: Don't bother. Because...
      A. You're not 'independent' - at least don't fool 'yourself'(?). Because, If you were, you'd have known that it's much, much easier to obtain a 'work visa' than to go through a very parasitical route of OCI through marriage. I have many foreigner friends from Scandinavian/European countries who've been doing the same for years now... So.
      B. Being ripped off with services has nothing to do with 'nationality'. Are you saying that foreigners in your own country don't get ripped off similarly?! What kind of joke is that?! 😅
      C. It's 2024 - not 1824. We don't give a flying f*** about PDA, TBH. You must be living in a very backward, Tier - 3/4 city here in India... or a "village", maybe.
      D. The zippers on the bags (and that's 'only' if you want to carry it around while shopping despite carry-cages/trollies available) are to prevent 'shoplifting'. Now, please don't tell me you never heard of 'that' in your own country! 😅 Also, let me tell you something... I saw people being dragged off by the police for chipping off semi-precious stones with pocket knives off the engravings of the Taj Mahal as a kid - and guess what, they were 'always' white foreigners from the West. 😅🤣

I think there are two such families... One has one son... the other a boy and a girl. They're both pretty popular on UA-cam.

I was about to request you to make this vlog before you bid adieu to India. I truly hope you had a great time here. I know our country is not perfect but i am sure you must have met many wonderful people here ( and not just ogglers and morons) and when you're back in Ireland, you too would be a kind of a brand ambassador for India. Thanks so much. Many wishes.
