I advise you to not do videos like this in the future. Crazy people follow individuals like yourself and target you based on what and when you post. Look at xxxtentacion! Hey I'm telling you for your own safety.
Out of all the game room tours I've seen on UA-cam, I have to say this is my favorite. I love how much you were able to pack given the size of the space. I'm going to base my room on yours when I get my own place.
For sure! When I was still in school, I bet I had maybe 50-75 total games (if that), so I totally understand. I didn't start collecting in earnest until the beginning of 2014, so it's taken me a while to build the collection I have.
@@jrapocalypse I'm in that boat as well I lost count over 3000 Im close to 5k for sure. Maybe my ghost will play on once I'm dead because I won't be able to play that many games lol
Solid game room and I also like the tone of your video! Great watch before bed! Congrats and keep up the good work! I'm looking forward to checkingout more of your videos!
Agreed! Really like that TV. It's now in our living room and I'm using a 65" version from the same year that I like fairly well, but the UI is a liiiiiiiittle bit slower than the 55" one. Thinking I'll save up for a newer model within the next year or two, perhaps.
dcrediah Same I have two 2013 Launch Glossy PS4 Models at Home one is in mint New Condition that stays at home only then my other one that’s kinda looks ugly now I take it out with me when I travel or go to friends house.
Wow that is a functional and beautiful game room. You managed to avoid clutter which is really hard. Well done and thanks for sharing. As an owner of over 7000 games I think your set up is more sensible - I just can’t purge yet! Ha ha.
Cross Chop Thanks Chris. I will do a quick view later in the year. Sadly my game room needs to double in size to display everything like your collection, and so will be very cluttered, with some games inaccessible. Not what I want but until we can afford to move will have to do.
Thank you so much for having Meteroid dedicated shelf a lot of UA-camrs with this it up to her don’t even have a Mario dedicated shelf but you have one of my favourite games super Metroid
Oh my god man! I love your setup! I have also the same Jarvis frame, with the exception that i have a custom desktop made by IKEA. I love the fact that i can stand anytime i want! Also, my man, you have Tombi! (In your country it's called Tomba). Anyway, man, i loved that game and played it four hours and hours. I had a lot of difficulty finding the little gnome's 😃 I must say, i was only a young boy and this was a game i was dedicated to finish! It was made really great, specially for it's time, what a nice adventure! I never played the sequel though. Nice video Cross Chop!
Thanks so much for watching! Tomba is so good... I have that disc copy, and I've got it installed on both my PS3 and Vita because hey--you never know when you're gonna need a Tomba! fix. 😆
*checks subs 1.3k* Its shocking how you don't have at least 50k subs. Just discovered your channel and u deserve way more subs! Also this room is just amazing, safe to say I'm jealous 😶
Look into designing a wireless charger for the controller shelf.. short range coil charging should be ok and a single cable for powering charging can be discreetly hidden.
Man, you need to get yourself a 25" CRT TV for them older consoles. Modern TVs are a no go lol. You can find them for free. I picked up three with perfect pictures just on the side of the curb around my town.
Absolutely love those SNES pillows! And I need to get some dust covers for my systems, three cats == a lot of hair everywhere! I have a similarish setup with my controllers in bins under my coffee table, but I definitely need to bag them like you did, that's a great idea! And yes, stand up desks are awesome! I had one at work for awhile until we moved offices and I miss it so much. Whenever I move into a house it's going to be a must-have in my game room/office as well! Excellent game room Chris! And excellent production quality as always! :D
Awesome video. I loved the editing and lighting in this. I can all the work put into it for sure. Love the organization of everything, I'll be check out some of those links for the pillows and dust covers for sure. Maybe I'll get around to a semi game room tour ha
hahaha love how the whole video looks so well shot and peaceful then at the end its straight blast beats deathcore haha xD love it! and loved the video! can't wait to do the same! iam currently in the apartment stage with my collection spread out XD . I watched thevideo all the way through from beginning to end love the details ! Great VIDS!
Thanks for watching--glad you enjoyed it! The music at the end was one of my buddy's bands that (unfortunately) broke up a few years ago. Always enjoyed their tunes, so I feature them from time to time on videos.
Love that t-shirt. First time viewer. You in STL? Edit: farther into the video, that was obviously confirmed. Just moved out of STL not long ago. I miss it!
Great video, loved the editing. A cheaper alternative to the Framemeister is the OSSC, but I’m sure your already aware of it. It will give you a virtually lag free experience and will be a massive improvement over your current scaler. Anyway consider me a new sub :)
Thanks, Dylan! I'm (vaguely) familiar with it, and definitely would like to "up my RGB game" at some point in the next year or two. Have been debating whether I want to go with the OSSC or the Framemeister.
Yeah man! A week or two after I put out this video, I bought an Xbox One X and have the Printer Boy dust cover for that one. Eventually, I may upgrade all of my covers to the ones he makes. They're great!
Nice setup. You really should consider getting a better scaler. Recommended alternatives to Framemeister like the OSSC and Retrotink. Both are line doublers and are great in the lag department being not existent for the most part.
Thanks, and I agree! I've been getting great recommendations from folks for the OSSC since I'm playing on a 4K TV, so I'll definitely be looking into upgrading my scaler as one of my next room improvements.
If i were you i would swap the extra controllers and cables under the 55 inch tv with the consoles under the bed and use am hdmi switch to plug everything in.
Thanks so much! Got too busy and started putting more time into some of my other hobbies. I'm starting to get an itch to make some more videos again--and have a big list of ideas to draw from--so we'll see what happens. Thanks again for watching! 🤘
My Mega Drive, Master System, Saturn, PS1 etc.. look exhalent on my Sony LCD via RGB and I have the Commodore 64 via S-Video that also looks great... I have no lag or image issues being plugged directly into the back of the TV/Monitor... I also use a CRT TV that also supports S-Video and RGB :) Great living in the UK.. But your older systems and monitors run at 60Hz when ours in the UK run a 50Hz, that does not apply these days.. Honestly I did not realise how lucky we are in Europe having RGB up until about 10 years ago, I have been gaming for over 35 years, started in the early to mid part of the 1980's.. I don't understand why Americans don't import monitors from Europe so they have the inputs available like RGB, new monitors will work perfectly fine in the USA just need to change the plug.. even my CRT runs at 50 and 60hz
That's a good point about importing displays. I may have to look into what's available, shipping costs, etc. Is there a particular brand/model you like best?
A CRT I would say a SONY Trinitron and for a LED/LCD SONY Bravia… Best thing to do is to look into inputs that it has, buy a older model TV for the retro consoles but I'm sure some newer models will be good to. The two I mentioned are two I have and work great. I look into what is available in the UK and get back to you.
One thing I would like to say is ignore people that think you still need to use a upscale devise! with a European monitor, If you pick the right screen and has RGB etc. then the monitor processes a RGB signal how its meant to process the image. A large screen being bigger than a 42inch is to much for retro gaming in my opinion.. I have a 32inch and is spot on.

Thank you!
Your video quality is excellent, this channel is very underrated. You've earned a new sub.
Thanks so much! Really appreciate it.
What a tour!
I also have the “older” PS4, and it serves me well
For sure! I've been reeeeeeally tempted by that new Spider-Man PS4 Pro, but I really don't need it, so...
Cross Chop that thing is gorgeous! Lol
I’ve been on the fence as well, but there are other things I’d rather get(and pay) than that
Absolutely! For a while, I've also been kicking around the idea of getting an Xbox One X, but have been holding off in hopes of a price drop.

Here in Europe many TV's still have a RGB Scart. But usually those TV's have awful scalers.
I personally use only CRT TV's to play older games.
Nice! I wish SCART had been offered in TVs over here in North America, too.

what direction does the window face? Do your games get faded from the sunlight?
The window faces into the room toward the shelves, but I keep the blinds closed 95% of the time.

Hey what type of shelf are you using it looks great
Thanks! The tall black ones are the BILLY shelf from IKEA.
Nice setup, since you've got a 4k setup i recommend the ossc over the framemeister, it works way better with 4k at around a hundred bucks less
Thanks! I've been hearing that from a number of people; I'll definitely look to the OSSC once I'm ready to upgrade.
Another vote for the OSSC. I've had it almost 2 years now and it's been a game changer for my setup.
i second this. i have both but the frameMeister is just in a drawer, the open source scan converter is very cool
Buen video! i like your collection.. I wonder if you play PC games on the big TV

How is your GameCube hooked up to your tv?
I think it's the GC Video Plug-n-Play 2.0 made by ZeldaXPro. I got it a little over a year ago and it has worked well.

So what are you using to hook up your gamecube to your tv?
It’s a 3D-printed adapter that a dude made before the GCHD was released.
I did a little digging, is it the ZXP adapter 2.0? It's like $100...
Yes, I believe that’s the one.
