This is not about Hindu vs. Muslim but about humanity and to raise awareness. We are all humans first and this awareness will stop the persecution as tolerant people and Hindus will be empowered. Thus, I am also outraged at the people who did the attacks on Hinduism in Bangladesh and the Islamic fundamentalists who brainwashed them but if you look at the video, there are still many secular Muslims in Bangladesh who are protesting for their Hindu countrymen.
Guys, don't forget we were without a government for days. It takes time to bring stability. It is true there were instances of minorities being attacked as with non-minorities. 100s of non-minority students were killed in the protest as well, which explains the kind of violence we have been through. Now we have an interim government and instances of all kind of attacks will reduce. I can ensure that we can build a country with equal contribution and rights from people of all background.

@@discodancer505 This is entirely different from what happened in Sri Lanka.. It was a political power sharing crisis between the Sinhala majority and the Tamil minority soon after the Brits left. It's not a religious problem as both Hindus and Buddhists in that country were existing together for thousands of years and still doing due to the so many commonalities of both cultures. But in Bangladesh and Pakistan, it's a clash of cultures, not a political problem like in Sri Lanka. It's against the Islamic authority which persecutes the non-Muslims. Next time you talk about the conflicts, try to find the real reasons behind, otherwise it misleads the people.

I am a Bangladeshi Hindu. Those who are saying no attack has happened to Hindus, please consider them fundamentalists or extremists. They have different sets of values, and they will come here to justify the recent vandalism anyway. Hindus never felt safe in Bangladesh, including under Hasina’s regime. But I am hopeful that the way the general students are coming forward to protect all minorities is remarkable. Even some of the Hindus who participated in this protest could have it on their political agenda as an indirect way of demanding Hasina’s return to power. Therefore, everything is darker here, as we are inside a black-filled circle. My comment is for those who are expecting a better and more prosperous Bangladesh, as resonated by dynamic general students. But the main concern is that democracy can be funny sometimes, as a tiny fraction of the entire population is made up of general students who are actually secular. However, the best we can hope is to see the effect of secular voters being prominent if there is a free and fair election. Otherwise, we will see the same or very similar fate that the Bangladesh had before. Let’s see! Rooting for students, fingers crossed.

I am a Bangladeshi, let me say some things. These protests happened right after we got independence, now there are no more attacks. The minorities also were protesting along with Muslims against the government. The attacks were committed by pro-government rebels in order to create a division. The Muslims stayed up all night long to protect the temples when the attacks were happening. Right now the situation is back to normal.
