I have a 2002 Toyota Runx Z with a cold air intake and exhaust, rn I am looking to port my intake and exhaust header , but I don’t want to go stand alone so imma get my ecu reflashed
1zz is evolution of 4age .Just same as 4age but little faster 2zz is nothing but overrated crap ,that is harder to modify when it comes to turbo builds .Block and crankshaft are better in 1zz.99% celica turbo builds that you gonna see are GT (1zz) . And yeah if 2zz is that good? Why it isn't stock in MR-S . Just look even at the torque . 1zz is even better in that field .GT celica is lighter too . So if you like track or touge , go with 1zz GT . If you like to be "Straight road racing" guy go with 2zz , even if it's not much faster ,like 1 sec . I'm not even triggered or anything , because I typed all this .I'am just sick of illiterate 'car' people
The 1ZZ is an economy engine, like the 4A-FE, not the GE. The 2ZZ’s block is also stronger and stiffer, as is the crankshaft and that’s been proven. People boost the GT’s more due to the lower (and thus more friendly to boost) compression ratio of 10:1 vs. The 2ZZ’s 11.5:1. Of course the GT’s lighter, the 1ZZ is about 15KG’s lighter due to its weaker block and the fact it’s missing a 6th gear. Beyond that, Toyota likely kept the 2ZZ out of the MR-S because it would completely destroy the Celica in every way and just turn into a budget Lotus Elise, economically it didn’t make sense. And track or touge go with the GT? Forget the drive train for a second, the better and stiffer system and geometry in the GT-S would provide an advantage regardless. Sorry, but enjoy trying to convince yourself you made the right decision
@@tapatap8005 Ive worked on both, they're both surprisingly simple engines and the difference is really quite small. And yeah I guess you can bore out a 1ZZ but no one does, there's more people who stroke 2ZZ's lmao
@@loganamurray64 I've seen this TAPATAP guy copy and paste that exact long winded comment on a couple of 2zz videos now. He must really think that he had a compelling message to convey. Probably took him an hour to piece together all those incoherent sentences.
funny how in the video from mwr he makes an error twice saying it’s the 4th pin on top and bottom. glad i saw yours to clarify the diagram he used.
Wow
So awesome
Which tune you chose on r9k ?
