  • This past week, we were running our cattle herd through the system for getting tags (which helps track lineage), castration and overall well-being. Having a larger operation has meant some changes to these practices.
If you’re thinking about raising cattle, I highly recommend you listen to today’s podcast, as I’m sharing some of the differences between owning one, nine or 20+ head of cattle. I also discuss the differences between banding or cut castration and why we switched.

Very happy you are healing well. Something to file away if ever needed, castor oil compresses dissolve tumors, bone spurs etc. It is especially helpful for fibroids.
    God bless you Beloved ❤

Hi Melissa, I'm so glad you are getting better! I saw you said you didn't use the petroleum salve the dr's gave you but used your wound healing salve after your surgery. I did the same! I had a Basil Cell Carcinoma removed from my forehead about the same time as you surgery. I had your wound healing salve ready to go and it worked great! Thank you so much for sharing your life with us. God bless you and yours and a very Merry Christmas! ❤

So glad that you're feeling better!
I didn't hear any noise from the construction at all. All your points about the cattle were valid & makes a lot of sense ❤

Glad for successful medical experience😊 Agree with cutting, calves always bawled more when dehorning than the actual castration😆

Glad to hear you made out well, this is the first I heard. Appears the Lord has used itprovidencially for a number of reasons. And we know that all things work together for good for those who love him, for those who are the called according to his purpose...

Another reason for castrating bull calves is testosterone can change the taste of the meat.
