Not to say she didn’t struggle, just a different kind of struggle
There's also the fact that, considering she DOES live in super magical and scientifically advanced society with straight up demons, vampires, and artificial humans, getting true reassigning surgery, if that is desired, would probably not be that difficult. Nope. Her town had a superstition that made the younger of two same sex twins being misfortune to the community. Because of this, they were either cast out of the town or killed. Bridget's parents didn't want this, so they raised her as a girl and never told anyone other than Bridget and her brother that she's male. She left because raising their kid this way caused a huge mental tax on her parents, and by becoming successful, she could prove that she wasn't a hex on her family. Her goal was met pretty much immediately after she left to become a bounty hunter during the time when Dizzy was a wanted fugitive. By the time Strive rolls around, she's a legal adult, the superstition was forgotten, and despite everything going her way, she still wasn't happy. By the end of her arcade mode, she comes to the conclusion that, despite being previously being averse to being seen as a girl, when it's not being forced on her, she's more comfortable this way. If that sounds weird, i understand. Just imagine a cat. Cats like sitting in boxes, this is basically universal truth. But if you pick up a cat, shove it into a box, and tape it shut, that cat is going to hate you for the rest of your days. But if you just leave the box out for the cat to sit in at any time, they're gonna love it. She wasn't groomed or succumbed to peer pressure, she realized her aversion before wasn't because of get incongruent identity and presentation, it was because that presentation was forced into her and caused people to underestimate her. After she proved her strength and was able to make her own choice of how to identify, present, etc. she chose to remain feminine presenting and came out as a trans woman in an open, supportive environment. TL;DR she wasn't groomed into being trans, there was literally zero pressure to identify either way when she came out, she was going to be supported by her friends regardless.
Strive was a retcon. Vastedge takes place months before Strive and none of the Strive stuff is mentioned in it. Bridget's lore stayed the same right before adding Bridget to the game.

Bridget had a very confusing trans experience given her situation growing up,
She was probably more protective and harder to crack than most trans people since she had to keep the fact she was (at that point) a boy secretive in her village
Now, with the village superstition gone and given the choice, she probably was in more denial than most people over her gender,
Though, yes, learning how to present far before even realizing she was a woman makes her situation probably enviable for most trans people. Not to say she didn’t struggle, just a different kind of struggle

There's also the fact that, considering she DOES live in super magical and scientifically advanced society with straight up demons, vampires, and artificial humans, getting true reassigning surgery, if that is desired, would probably not be that difficult. Nope. Her town had a superstition that made the younger of two same sex twins being misfortune to the community. Because of this, they were either cast out of the town or killed.
Bridget's parents didn't want this, so they raised her as a girl and never told anyone other than Bridget and her brother that she's male.
She left because raising their kid this way caused a huge mental tax on her parents, and by becoming successful, she could prove that she wasn't a hex on her family.
Her goal was met pretty much immediately after she left to become a bounty hunter during the time when Dizzy was a wanted fugitive.
By the time Strive rolls around, she's a legal adult, the superstition was forgotten, and despite everything going her way, she still wasn't happy.
By the end of her arcade mode, she comes to the conclusion that, despite being previously being averse to being seen as a girl, when it's not being forced on her, she's more comfortable this way.
If that sounds weird, i understand. Just imagine a cat. Cats like sitting in boxes, this is basically universal truth. But if you pick up a cat, shove it into a box, and tape it shut, that cat is going to hate you for the rest of your days. But if you just leave the box out for the cat to sit in at any time, they're gonna love it.
She wasn't groomed or succumbed to peer pressure, she realized her aversion before wasn't because of get incongruent identity and presentation, it was because that presentation was forced into her and caused people to underestimate her.
After she proved her strength and was able to make her own choice of how to identify, present, etc. she chose to remain feminine presenting and came out as a trans woman in an open, supportive environment.
TL;DR she wasn't groomed into being trans, there was literally zero pressure to identify either way when she came out, she was going to be supported by her friends regardless.
Strive was a retcon.
Vastedge takes place months before Strive and none of the Strive stuff is mentioned in it. Bridget's lore stayed the same right before adding Bridget to the game.
