I need to watch this drama when i have more free time. Shin Sung Rok just has one of those faces that can be incredibly goofy and puppy dog and then switch to villain in heartbeat. It's always fun to watch the roles he picks.
I agree! Very flexible in whatever roles he picks so it becomes very entertaining to see how he plays each character from his perspective along with the script. Super fun to watch him play this character with evilness and a spark of joy that makes you want to hurt him and then feel bad for him.
@@SkyRocketteShip I also have a soft spot for Jang Nara because I have been watching her for years. Definitely have this drama on my "to watch" list when I have more time and finish the other dramas I'm watching.
Why am I shipping them now? I was suppossed to be angry at the emperor with all the mistakes he has done but I also understand where his coming from though it does not justify his wrongdoings. Why does it breaks my heart knowing that the empress no longer loves him? My heart is aching for the emperor and at the end of the day, he will have to pay for his sins and he will have no one by his side who loves him.

Really sad when I watch ep 41. He slap his face himself because he feel bad for his wife. He said that he wouldnt love anyone so that person still alive. He feel that if he love someone, that person would die.
I watch it in my breaktime on my office and I cant stop crying. I really feel sad when he acting before the empress that he didnt love her.
And the empress seem cant forgive him. In ep 42, she think that the emperor try kill/kill his own brother. I believe that he didnt do that. Although the emperor always fight with Yoon, he never try to kill him. He never order people to stalk Yoon. He, in his hearth, still love his younger brother. However Yoon never love him as his brother.
At the end, i think i will cry for the emperor.

After I watch ep 42, when the emperor ask Wo Bin, that he want kill him? I feel that Hyuk will sacrifice himself to protect the empress in his aniversary ruled the kingdom. I think maybe someone will try kill the empress and he safe her with his life. Only that the empress will forgive him. But I cant accept that concept.
Why bad guy who became good guy must die as his pay to his mistake? Why he can't get second life?

Yoon know everthings in the begining but still silent. He know that his brother and his late sister in law fight, but he still silent. He didnt said that fact to his grandmother. I didnt like the emperor's brother (Yoon).

This far is the storyline, I highly doubt Sunny is going to fall for him again because of everything’s he’s done from cheating on her, trying to kill her, killing Wang shiks mother, and the breaking point was knowing her mother could have been saved. Besides, Sunny deeply cares for Wang Shik and her mission is revenge

Min ju Ra killed his mother and I know that everyone has tragic story but can we just for a moment think about emperor? Because no one does. Everyone think that he is cruel and that's it. No one for a once thought about his life, and I think that to do revange someone could do that, informations like that could help. Then someone would find out who is actually cruel in this story. I know that emperor did bad things, but the worst did his mother, Min Ju Ra etc. He was blinded by them. Still, idk what should I think about him, but now I feel sorry for him.
Anima Corpus the last empress will twist your heart and mind...for a start for me the emperor was not a psycho...a psychotic person have no mercy, no compassion and will never feel love...the emperor save the lives of cwb and oh sunny many times...so the emperor have mercy after all...if not for the emperor cwb and oh sunny should have been dead in the story...the emperor love oh sunny so much...he kept trying and trying to show how much he love her but always thrown back at him...its heartbreaking and when the emperor cries im crying too...the emperor needs a lot of loving and undestanding...he needs a debriefing and complete dettachment from his past...oh sunny should have consult a medical expert on these things and would have understand better...but no one help him...if oh sunny should have ask why her husband is behaving badly she would have had found out the root cause of all these things...she woulld have known the painful truth of how the emperor was treated badly and how he was abused by his patents...even his brother they grow up together but never mentioned about it...the sad part his brother never loved him...he found a brother in cwb but also betrayed him...everyone in the story just using the emperor...while he was all alone fighting with himself while fighting the people around him because the people around him are planning to down him...the emperor can be fooled easily and he was stupid but i hate the people who are using it in their favor...thats the bitter and lonely life of lee hyuk.
