Hey Chad , I’m looking forward to you showing us around Pai as it’s been a few years since I’ve been there . I think you will enjoy the ride up there .. the many twists and turns from Chiang Mai to Pai . ..but watch out for the gravel on the hairpin turns as you come out of the mountains . 2 of my buddies wiped out . . Ride safe , until next time . Cheers man 🚬🥴🍺.
Hey man just wanted to say do you watch your videos every time you put one out wish I could support you on patreon but I can't sorry man but I will keep liking and sharing
CB Media Awesome, glad you got a new helmet. This is a good time to go because there shouldn’t be many daredevil van drivers going back and forth between Chiang Mai and Pai, if any. Hope you got a rain poncho, too. Have a great time.
Dude you are a really humble person , I really enjoy your videos , so far I been watch them alI ....I hope , keep up the good work and be safe out there 👍
Thanks to everyone who sponsor this channel, many thanks for this man who keep travelling around Thailand and making this kind of enjoyable videos. Without tourist travelling around,Thailand is dying!.
I miss my fiance & son my new home in Thailand, im in Melbourne Australia 4 months so far & still in lock down, you bring Thailand to me and for that i say Thank you very much Chad..really looking forward to this trip you are on....safe travels...
Once a again, nailed it in the first 2 minutes. But...as a pilot, I got vertigo with the east/west thingy as the video was showing a map. Regardless, great vid and I'll be making that road trip forthwith.
That road to Pai from Chang Mai is a blast BUT some of the craziest hair pen corners I’ve ever seen...especially fun with trucks coming the other way! Be safe, enjoy and don’t miss the caves outside of Pai!
Chiang Mai is one of my favourite cities in Thailand. Watching your video this morning brought back so many good memories! Looking forward to following this trip through the Golden Triangle!
MHS loop...one of the best things you can do in Thailand. You're brave, doing it in the rainy season. But I'm sure you'll love it anyway. Scenery is amazing. ENJOY !
Considering I cannot leave the US for the foreseeable future, I might be more excited than you for this motorbike trip! Good luck on the search for a new lid.
Hey Chad.. been following all your posts and am especially interested in this trip as I'm planning to do it myself by car in the next couple weeks. I'm an American expat in BKK, and also a classic car guy .. keep the stories coming!
I love your vids. Wish they were longer. Hope you have a great time. Looking forward to this series. Chicken soup looked delicious and I liked the purple walls in your room
There are so many interesting places to visit in Mae Hong Son loop that are very popular for locals. You should spend some nights at home stay up in the mountain such Ban Ja Bo, Ban Ruk Thai, Doi Mae Ukor etc. Have fun and safe trip!
So excited for this tour. PAi is an amazing city with lots to see and do. Awesome night market with great food. Your gonna LOVE the road into PAi, smart choice on getting a new bike with better brakes....your gonna need em!!!🤪🤪🤪🙏
LOL when you looked at the bike line up I picked the blue one because it looked to be the best shape ! This is going to be good ,I'm stoked , last year when I was there and did a northern tour someone told me to check out Pei but ran out of time ,Be safe and cheers !
Chiang Mai by far my favorite city in Thailand. Did the Mae Hong Son loop last year about this time. I hope you packed your rain jacket Chad. The roads are epic. Made a video myself but it's not near as entertaining as yours. Keep the rubber side down can't wait to see this series.
Hi, welcome to Chiang Mai. You really should try the "Yamaha Xmax". It has 300ccm and it is still automatic. This bike is a joy, especially for the long Mae Hong Son Loop. You can rent it at C&P Big Bike. Its 1200 Baht a day, but totally worth it.
The sleeper train is a fun way to get from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, stupid cheap too. You might like to try that one some other time you head North. Looking forward to your next video. Have a safe trip.
“LOL Slim White Guy” 😂 have a brilliant time buddy, you going to love the ride to Pai 762 curves--most of them hairpin and switchback. Ride safe see you soon 👍😊
Mate Pai is my town. Its going to be hot this time of year but its so beautiful. Places to eat are endless ,hot springs Cafe Cito isy hangover feed Spa exotica is the best hot spring
This is insane... I rode the Mae Hong son loop 2 years ago and rode the exact same bike, exact same color,. I got mine at Mr. Mechanic shop #1. Wish I could send you a Pic. Love your content. I watch every one.
Hi Chad I did the MHS loop in March on the blue you now have. Its a bit beat up but went great and never missed a beat. You’re right about the helmets. I did the loop clockwise and spent more time in Pia🇦🇺😀
Been on the MHS loop a number of times and look forward to your views. For foreign visitors to Thailand that loop is one of, if not the greatest motorcycle route in the world! Pang Ung lake in the mountains near Mae Hong Song town is great for a night of camping by the lake (tents set up already). Enjoy the ride. I envy you!
Dude, wish a would have found you sooner! A buddy from the states turned me on to your You-Tube channel this morning! So i just watched your Mai Son Motorbike tour, in reverse! That's right, did it the right way, first time! Next time you come to CM, do the road up to Doi Sutep, and go on up past it! There is a compound that the King and Queen stay at when they visited CM! Beautiful gardens and grounds! Also, the Jungle coaster, is a must do! And the roads up to it are good and sketchy, and from there keep going up, to the very top, it is where you can ride the super sketchy wooden, hand made, go-cart things down the mountain! My pic is me on the Jungle coaster, super fun, but a bit of advise, make sure the track is clear, before you start! Why? My second time down, i'm smoking down, and look ahead, there is a couple stopped on the track, taking a selfie!!! I barely got stopped/slowed down in time, and just banged them just a bit, yelling my ass off, for them to take back off! Crazy! I live in Lampang now for 7 years and counting!
My 3rd shirt has arrived i will send photo on Instagram to you now i really have to decide which one to wear first. Lol ! Glad you are on another journey have fun be fast but be safe.
The way I would describe it would be a rollercoaster of a road, I have rode it 3 times now and it’s awesome, I usually get my bike from Pop rental, you can get a Versys 650 or a V-storm at a really good price, good luck and ride safe Brad.
That city DOES sound/look really cool! You should definitely spend a little more time exploring it either now or in the future. Also, good call on the motorbike switch. Better safe than sorry..!
I have been on that road! So many hairpin curves I had to stop for a break because it was making me sick. It was fun though and would like to do it again. Lots of hippies in Pai!
You ride through on the inner rail between trucks and cars. Squeaky brakes no problem. This mountain journey will be exciting.Just be careful these roads are very winding.
Welcome to Chiang Mai buddy. Nice place to live? Indeed. Except burning season. Anyway, you arrive the same day I depart after 54 weeks. Gotta hit the beach while its still empty.....safe travels man. Peace.
Enjoy mate but go easy. Some of those bends have loose gravel if it’s been raining. Highly recommend you take the sleeper train back to Bangkok - the new one is quite nice
I did this as my first motorcycle tour in Thailand in 1993. I have forgotten what bike it was - some kind of Honda 125 trail bike. Rough and ready. Manual gears and poor brakes were a memory. Great trip though. Enjoy yours!!!
Hi Chad, drove the mae hong son loop twice (by car) I found it more exciting from Taichilek to mae hong son ( reverse of your loop) than the loop you drive, but its a ride! Enjoy... btw the route from phu chi fa to chian khong is also very exciting and curvy... if you stay and want a little bit more luxury, try the Star hotel, in the night market district. Again have fun!
Excellent. I was in CM Nimman District in Dec. Had my share of Khao Soy dishes and all were tasty. I noticed Police pulling people over by CM Zoo before going up the Hill so beware of that
Looking forward to the MHS Loop. I did the loop also, and it's a great route. I went the other way around, from CM to Mae Sariang, MHS, Pai and back to CM. Amazing! Can't wait for your MHS Series.
I always stay at Piya guest house when in Mae Hong Son, it's amazing, little bungalows only a couple of yards away from the lake in central MHS. Lovely and peacefull there, you will enjoy it. It is an arduous route with around 300 hairpin bends.
When you get back,...if your not all road out,...check out the samoeng loop, there's some nice twisties and descending corners ya can really dive into .

I’ve got a couple of extra helmets with visors that I don’t use anymore. You’re welcome to one. I live 10 minutes from Nimman area.
Thanks for the offer dude! I have been offline so I missed this, I had so much going on this morning and ended up grabbing one from Lotus

Remind me to buy Chad a compass to help with east/west orientation
Yea, he's a bit off on that.
Once a again, nailed it in the first 2 minutes. But...as a pilot, I got vertigo with the east/west thingy as the video was showing a map. Regardless, great vid and I'll be making that road trip forthwith.
Spontaneity plus a beer or two guarantees a great trip!
Looks like a nice green drive.. lots of hills and valleys.. lots of cool stuff in Pai
