I finally payed my house and land off yesterday so now I can save to come join you in paradise .I love all the motor sports can't wait to watch so many motor sports. Long tail boats and I'm hanging to see yours .
I really enjoy what you put out, real life on the road, not all things come out the way you like it to but if you make it back home safely then its a great ride.
You'd love the coastal roads in Phuket, from Naiharn in the south all the way up to Nai Yang in the north. EPIC bendy roads, inclines, declines & amazing views. Have you been?
chad you were born to do what you are doing! i feel the 3 top you tubers are in Thailand or anywhere on you tube 1CB Media 2. Thai girl gift -n- Foreigner Joe.3 Ride 4 Kicks
Ya take your time it's not about the destination , it's about the journey ! Not like your boss is going to piss and moan , have a beer and chill dude, be safe ! Cheers !
Another good one! Wow! That landscape is lush and green. I particularly love the spinning put your pants on move. LOL. And the “bacon on the hoof“ in the truck. Yum Yum. I’m sure tomorrow will go better for you. All the best to you from San Diego California. Love traveling with you.
4:57 Holy cow Chad!!!!! How did you just do that??? I've tried it six times nowwith three different types of blue jeans and I can't get a single one to go on like that. Now I'm dizzy. I'll try again at the end of the video....... LOL Okay....... video is done, let's try this spin trick again............ uummm, nope. SMH. Guess I'll leave it to the professionals. LOL
Mate- done that road a few times in rain, not fun on any bike After Pai the next village is Pang Mapha. At the end of the village on the left is a good coffee stop After MaeHong Son the next major town is Khun Yuan. Good coffee shop on left on way into town
You made the right decision dude. Better safe than sorry. And there isn't no hurry anyway. Too many farangs in Thailand have scooter accidents. Stay safe.
Coffee 10 years ago was that Nestle stuff in a tube, now you can get really good coffee just about anywhere along the road. BTW it rains in the rainy season LOL.
Great vid dude but if you are worried about oil slicks, you should also be worried about crossing those white painted lines in the wet ESPECIALLY when cornering. They can he as slippery as a madams hand in a drunk farang pocket! Be safe dude!
Entertaining vlog Chad. But!! May I point out the way you say route is wrong man..you say it like the word out but the e on the end of route should be said as if you were saying root.yes I'm from the UK..lol..I like what you do very much.rides for kickz is copying you though..so you may cross paths on your ROOT..lol
It's bringing back fond memories for me. 8 years ago I was on the same roads, although going in the opposite direction and on a push bike - it rained hard on me as well.
Stay in the moment where everything is great and your wisdom is refreshing. At the end of the video your comments were perfect thank you. See you tomorrow. Stay safe.
It’s not a CB media video if everything goes to plan beautiful temple though and such a shame we didn’t get to see the erotic park I hear the shafts are epic
Yessss , brilliant, the only thing keeping me sane in Lockdown, yes Cape Town still in Lockdown as is the entire country!!but CB saves the day!! We want more...We want more !!!
I laughed, I cried and even cheered. Chad that was awesome. Not another fail but just one more experience most never have. Man I was glad you didn't have a better bike because that turn outside of Coffee Hill you could've laid down.
Temperature drop drastically as you climb the Mae Hong Son loop. Not much daylight too, by 5:00pm it will get dark! Good to have extra clothing like warmer jacket, rain coats, more riding gloves to keep warm, your fingers gonna be frostbite with all the cold air coming if your bike doesn't have any handguards. How cold can it be, it's only Thailand, let you have a go, then you'll know how cold it be in the coldest part of the country. In Thailand majority of the Bigger bikes will start with 300cc and above. Other countries will have the 250cc variant due to DL classes but in Thailand majority are all 300cc and above. Can you survive the Mae Hong Son loop with only 155cc Yamaha Aerox ? Yes you can .... slow ride and real difficult to climb, as some roads are so steep, but you will enjoy your ride. What's the best bike for this Adventure? Minimum 300cc, comfortable somewhere around 500cc, Superb for 800cc, 1,000cc and above can be done. Khrap 🙏😻
Dude! That short cut you took would have me turning around immediately! I don’t know how you have the balls to push forward in situations like that. Now that you have your own personal helmet you need to find an air brush artist or vinyl wrap place to pimp it out all CB Media style!
@@philiploydrecto1043 they're 6 ton tyres, all trucks here add 20 extra spring leafs, 2 - 4 extra shocks and steel back wheels with truck tyres so they can carry upto 6 tons.
is it sad that with just the mention of "a garden," i knew exactly what garden you were talking about? 😆😆😆 Also, phuket has some awesome twisties, but the trouble is being able to hit them when traffic is low (which is hard to judge and kinda rare)
I agree Chad, Temples in Thailand are so beautiful and serene. No Matter you are religious or not but once you go inside and sit there for a while, they start to draw you towards them. It is just an unexplainable thing which I have experienced too.
😎👍 Thats one of the many reasons i enjoy your vids..... Its relaxed and "normal"..... (S**t happens to you to)😂 besides its Thailand !!!! Great City vibes and Countryside Keep up th good work 🙌 🐯👍
That was some solid rain... I live in Chiangmai, and have been wanting to do the loop for months. It will be soon, maybe next week. I have a Yamaha NMAX 155, and had originally planned to ride that. However, I just returned from a long trip down south to Ko Phayam, with stays in Hua Hin and Bangkok. Almost 3,000kms on that thing, and I am certain it's not for long rides. It will do it, but damn uncomfortable. So, for the Mae Hong Son ride I've decided to rent a V-Strom 650 or CB500. More comfortable and way more fun. No struggling up the hills for me! It'll be cool to see how the rest of your ride goes. I'll be watching from the comfort of my condo in Chiangmai...

I paid £375 for a Shoei helmet in the UK...You pay $18 for a helmet with a Shoei shaped Index logo on. Chad just buy a $2 Tupperware box, it'll be stronger.
I drove a Benelli TNT 300 to the mountains north of Chiang Mai, it was really nice to have real tires and brakes there... Especially with packing of 320 kg / 705 pounds. One problem though was my lady that were afraid I would drive too fast, so back I was driving slow, downwards. Which led to overheated engine x-) , and it shut off! Had to cool the engine down 1.5 hours. Good lesson.

just did the ride today and got nailed Chad style with two downpours, luckily i got under shelter just in time to avoid any big soakage. Also luckily, they were two relatively short downpours and i eventually made it to Pai before night fall.. There's a rest stop about 30 k from coffee hill. Just barely... There lots of good snacks at the few but friendly stores on the way... and some truck was dropping alot of cabbages because there were cabbages every few km... a few villagers even picked them up and had them ready for cleaning on their table. Let's be frank about this scenic but dangerous route. You gotta do it as dry as possible. it's got more hairpins than a 1970's curler bag. I wasn't gonna look for homestays in the middle of nowhere so I had about 30 minutes of inching my way around the wet corners. The locals on bikes lead the example, puttering along when they do the mountains in the rain. They know best.

That is what is so exciting about your trip, the one that didn’t go as planned. Because you are different!
I know there's no manual clutch, but does that bike have manual gear selection? I would think that could help quite a bit on the climbs.
Thanks for keeping me company Chad during the situation.
'That truck has a blow off valve', just as you said that i knew you were about to notice that truck had 10 organic dump valves facing right at you.

Hey mate, I live in Phuket and have been following you now for a few months. Loving the content and giving me inspiration for more local travel.
$18 for a helmet? I'm thinking their R and D department is non-existent for that price. Even in Thailand. Just buy a Shoei and take it with you.
Actually Index Brand has passed Thailand industrial standard. So it's good quality and can actually protect your head.
See ya tomorrow dude be safe 🍻
