I love how Carl uses geek as a measurement of how hard a troll level is.
I was almost in tears laughing when Carl kept CP1ing himself by missing the exit to the blue pipe. Just an incredible brain.
Sometimes people can convince their self so much, that they are willing to jump head first into a spike thinking it could be the answer.
Random meme level idea: take Carl's horrible 'Getting over it' level and just fill it with water so players could just swim up and win. You could have a whole super world of levels that initially look like Carl's nightmare levels, but are actually super easy cute levels.

Saying “Just trust the science” is sort of like saying “just trust the government.” Ignorance is not an excuse to blindly follow things unquestioning, in fact, doing so spits in the face of science.
You probably won’t see this but as a cult survivor, it means so much to hear you casually talk about this stuff on stream. People in cults actively avoid anything that might get them to question their beliefs; often the only way to get them to think is by stumbling on information from a source they viewed as “safe.” I think having more voices talking about cult thinking is super important, so thanks for talking about it!
As a linguist the egg corn discussion was super fun. Some egg corns have become permanent fixtures in our language. "Card shark" is a really well documented one, it was originally "Card sharp" but was misheard so often that the phrase changed for everyone.

I think, honestly, the thing that makes Mario Maker troll levels so cool is the fact that they're made *in Mario Maker*. It's like taking a brush, and three colors of paint, and finding every possible combination, and half the time finding chemical reactions to make new colors from what you already have, and creating a goddamn masterpiece.

To the egg corn discussion - my dad would always refer to me and my brother as, “brownian motion machines” when we were little, and both of us, having no concept of what Brownian motion was, assumed that he was saying, “brownie in motion,” with the assumption that there was some being somewhere or from something named brownie who moved around a lot
My main language is French, and as a kid, I thought "Spider web" (web -> toile) was "Spider star" (star -> étoile).
Unlikely this will ever get seen. But in the VERY next video, I watched the creator said "fingering it out" rather than "figuring it out". Best follow-up video ever :)
