Amazing performance of a supremely powerful and deeply moving work. When I first started to listen to classical music as a teenager I used to find Messiaen's music tough and intimidating. Now, after several years I'm able to enjoy his music and appreciate it's awesomeness.
This Interpretation of this incredible composition of Light , clarity ,Pathos is AMAZING...Indeed Messiaen who was the Organist in Notre Dame for many years was and IS an Inspiration for those who believe or not in a higher being...Majestic and Grand...wonderful intensity...excellent and beautiful playing and Mr. Wollf understands the magic of this masterpiece😊

Really fine playing from the Brass in that tough (on the chops) 1st movement, talk about knocking the crap out of the 1st Trumpet at the start of the piece, great section playing in the Trumpets.

What doesn't add up? You take B with the second valve, although your key is flat and this means that you should take B with the first valve! This problem requires resolution in order to eliminate the inconsistency
