Tuchel was very good at Chelsea. Had Chelsea in almost all finals last season. With a striker he could work with or if he was able to get his attack together last season with an j jury free Kante and Reece James. Things would have been very different. Let's also not forget he managed them to almost all the finals while also taking questions with all the drama that surrounded Chelsea at the time with change of ownership. He steered Chelsea through much disaster and should forever be remembered for a contribution to the club not many others could have made. He even did this while dealing with divorce ( which by itself can be quite exhausting). I wish him well

perfectly put. he did waaaaay better than most if not all others would have in the same situation. forever grateful as a chelsea supporter. but in the end this is the nature of the job at chelsea. love it or hate it its worked for many years. regardless of manager in question. is what it is sadly. UP THE CHELS!

There's a reason why Dortmund let him go after 2 years; There's a reason why PSG let him before he even got to a full 2 years, so it was inevitable he was only gonna last less than 2 years at a club that is no-nonsense approach when it comes to getting rid of their managers if they're not up to standards, or giving impression they can get there fast enough, so when you think of the fact that he's nowhere near the level of the past top managers Chelsea have had, it was only a matter of time.
For those of who that said he needed time, how comes I knew that he was gonna be fired (just like I predicted Lampard would last only 6 months) sooner rather than later? Not because Chelsea is who they are, but because Tuchel is who i know he is, and the track record of an average of less then 2 years at Dortmund, PSG and Chelsea shows that.
Unfortunately, this is the end of part 1 of Thomas Tuchel's coaching career much like when Brendon Rodgers was at Liverpool and then ended up in Scotland to try and reinvent himself. That is where TT is at at this point in his coaching life. He will need time off or go coach a small team in SerieA or something of that nature but like I said, he's at the end of chapter 1 of his coaching career and need a reinvention after a rest, something like Brendon Rodgers path.

You should man he stuck with your club when the takeover was taking place and during sanctions and during those times when Roman was still owner while the war was going on. Tuchel had to face so many tough questions during that time and tough situations such as Chelsea wasn't allowed to airfare and had to use personal money to fly for CL games and even some of the away games due to assets got frozen by UK government. But despite that he stuck with your club didn't hide, flee (resign). He didn't deserve this.

Potter will be backed heavily by the media because he's English. Potter is going through a good patch but isn't the best coach around as these people are making out to be. Tuchel is a very good coach & Chelsea will face dire consequences because of this decision.

This is my breakdown of top 10 reasons TT got sacked:
    1. Worst home form of any chelsea manager in the abromavich era
    2. Sold tomori, geuhi, livemento, all young CBs for nothing saying they were not good enough...they've all gone on to become mainstays in the epl and serie a..tomori won the scudetto...guehi got England callup
    3. Sold Tammy for 40mm and pushed the board to get him a striker...spent 100mm on Lukaku and wasn't able to integrate him into the offense ...Tammy meanwhile is lighting up in serie a
    4. Refused to play a top young talent in Broja saying he needed a more seasoned striker...went and got Auba at 33 years old.i think he was lining to get Broja sold
    5. Bought fofana (75mm), koulibaly (35mm), cucurella (60mm) and despite having Levi Colwill (top recruited left footed defender) and chalobah (how much exists in quality difference between chalobah and fofana...in my opinion they are the same)
    6. His offense had become too rigid...how do you have a whole team playing with people out of position ...continued trying to play pulisic, odoi, ziyech as wingbacks when they are true out and out wingers...plays mount, Gallagher in the midfield pivot when they not suited, plays havertz , pulisic, sterling at 9 when they are not suited
    7. Spent 260mm on players but style of play regressed immensely...actually since December our win percentage has to be one of the lowest in the league
    8. Lost to dynamo Zagreb a team that spent 5mm this off season whilst he spent 260mm
    9. Was great at cup competitions having reached almost every final for all the cups he participated in but seems not to have been able to maintain a team's focus for a full season...wheels fell off in December and already this season we were seeing the same
    10. Continues to play out of form play like azpi, jorginho, mount, havertz despite having other options on the bench...new ownership spent on young talent like chukwuemeka, casadei, slonina but no path for these players to play under TT...I think this is what timstely did him in, having massive youth talent but not knowing hoe to use it or integrating the youths into the team...being open to selling Broja to westham was another crime he wanted to commit....

How can you fire a coach who's players are out off and keep getting injured (kante, and Jorginhou). We all know those players are have past their prime. How is that the managers fault. Secondly, we brought 2 players at the deadline transfers, who didnt even play for coach before he got fired. That is ridicoulus. That is money waisted. At least give the manager time to integrate and work with the new players like Auba, sterling, zakaria.

what is Stevie talking about when comparing TT vs Potter. Tuchel managed PSG, BvB before taking over chelsea as Dan pointed out. Tuchel has experience in Champions league and working with big group of superstars.
At big clubs, its big challenge to manage egos and international players. Specially ones on bench. Players mostly listen to you when you are successful like pep, klopp etc. Or when things are going right, its a happy group. As soon as things go wrong, ones of bench rightly wonder as why others starting over them. it goes down south very fast.

He won the CPL yes but the performance under him from day one was boring you can't name me 6 games that Chelsea had score more that 3 goals under his guidance from her replace Frank, either can you name me 6 game that we have fall behind and make a come back win. For the project that Chelsea will be/ is TT wouldn't have fit, it's clear the new regime have an idea of what they want and TT has been pretty negative for a while.

But TT had an over reliance of the injured- when he started to use an attacking 8 in RLC as a DM but just couldn't think to sign a DM or midfield option let alone give available players a chance in their position is beyond me.
Jorginho and Kante bring their own issues from Kante covering too much ground and never getting the rest he needs and Jorginho relying on his work to Jorgi himself being ill suited to protect in midfield in this league. Can work in Italy but he needs a Kante for England.
