There are no standard ways of how to make a watch dial. But one thing you can say for sure is, that it is complex with very many steps: 40, 50, as many as 70 steps to arrive at the finish end product - the dial. We show you some of the principle steps along the way to get to a finished watch dial. Enjoy this video and learn more about dial making
I've such a high respect for skilled factory workers!
Great video wish it didnt end so soon.
What an amazing video! Thank you so much!
Thanks for this. I learnt a great deal
Thanks for the sharing
Captivating!
Very cool!
Very good video!👌❤️
Fascinating, thank you for the great video. A lot of this work relies on expensive machinery... I wonder if this similar finish of dial, with multiple layers from pressing, can be achieved in one off manufacturing?
When I grow up I want to be like Jeff Kingston
Hello, good morning, please make a video of how you made the steel watch strap ... Thank you
Modern technology has come so far so it'll be interesting to see how dials will be made 10, 20 years from now. For example, the friction press: precise CNC machines nowadays can easily replicate those complex date window shapes that are "impossible to achieve". Both exciting and a little sad to think that automation will continue to replace beautiful, manual work.
Indexes? So many people say this,, but I always thought it was indices.
Traditionally, the plural form of index is indices, but indexes is acceptable.
I prefer the former.
HansDelbruck53 thanks for explaining that to me. Appreciated.
Can you provide Chinese subtitles?thank you!
Partly explains the high cost of quality watches.
So many safety issues
