The bible does not tell us on which day Jesus was born nor does it set aside any particular time on the calendar to celebrate His birth. What is does tell us is that He was born and that He entered this world in a miraculous way. The circumstances of His coming were not left to "chance" but were carefully orchestrated by God. The birth of Christ occurred according to God's perfect timing. Paul told the Galatians that Christ was "sent forth" by the Father in "the fullness of the time." Why was the early first century the optimum time for Jesus to come?
