I think its the opposite honestly, comparing how high n from how far lebron was jumping, and on the amount of players, he caught a body from damn near the free throw line, at 6:04 mj comes up flat for the dunk so he like a freak switches hands.
Great plays from both, still I'm an old school and even if the rules have changed years ago, I can't help to find it weird how much room there is under the rim these days, still impressive to see a 6.8 250lb player dunk like that, but really the paint is almost always empty.
That’s just false. You couldn’t play zone defense back in Jordan’s day so if he beat his man the helping defenders would come in late or not make in time at all. A huge reason why the 3 is so popular today is because it was really hard to score in the paint and quality 3point shooting beats zones. Lebron sometimes needs assists close to the basket. Jordan has come with the ball from beyond the 3-point line or his court. That is if he does not take it directly from the opponent.
Lebron when he was young dunked over people now he chery picks for passes with no defense behind him as he doesnt run back for defense.. he didn't dunk the same as shaq and Dwight Howard, Vince Carter, and he has a narrative behind him to push he is the best. "Jordan wins 1998 despite pippen injury" because the jazz were hot ass that whole series... put jordan in place of lebron in the 2014 finals and he's getting blown out every game. Dwyane wade and chris bosh were both injured and the supporting cast was not there for miami. "Jordan wins all playoff games when seeded higher or equal..." im not even gonna try to debunk this argument because it's so stupid 🤣 "Jordan needs only 1 all star teammate to win six rings"... I'm gonna let you try to figure out with your two braincells why that argument is so fucking stupid. Born in the 80's, wasn't a basketball fan until LBJ was drafted by my hometown Cavaliers. Made basketball one of my favorite sports. Watching the Jordan highlight reel shows how different the league was in that era. The talent level of globally recruited elite players in this gen is under-respected. All modern players grew up wanting to be Jordan and LBJ. Just as LBJ wanted to be in the conversation with Jordan. Jordan's best shots, game winners, were jumpers inside the 3-point line. I'd like to know how Jordan's game would have evolved with the 3 points being as prevalent as it is today. His percentage was low, but it wasn't an emphasis in his gen. I watched far more LBJ than Jordan, since he's still active in the league. Watched the Raptors game winning floater live and when it happened my wife who always called Jordan the GOAT and watched his game reels religiously whispered, he's the GOAT, LBJ, when he made that shot. There was so much control and finesse, beautiful to experience. It's not shocking, LBJ modeled his game after Jordan and all the other greatest players. He is incredibly versatile. Evident by his 36-20-10 performance at 39.

Lebron is the most complete player to ever play I’ll say that but mj was just different his game was just so smooth unlike anyone else both freaks of nature no disrespect to lebron but mj is the undisputed goat no stats involved just pure game
It's so tough to call... they make it looks effortless, like a man amongst boys
Mj the real goat 🐐
Both the best of their time for sure.
MJ is just more entertaining. No matter which way you slice it MJ just makes it all look cooler. he's an artist. And from these highlights it looks like there was way more pressure back in MJ's day.
To me Jordan’s competition looks significantly slower weaker and can’t jump as high. Probably because players today weigh more than back then. Bench more than back then and have higher verticals
thats your opinion man
Jordan the best Player !! Brazil love Jordan !!
Jordan was far far more optimal. His style was far far more poetic and silky.
Lebron é força e velocidade
Michael Jordan é todo o basquetebol.

Brute force vs Master technique. Both are amazing.

@Certified Big Dog are you joking
Jordan has done many more nba achievements and he was amazing back in a era whene defense was a lot better so it was harder to score
Lol no, stop it
It's harder to score now because of schemes. Yeah it was more physical then, but alot of iso ball and no zones. Its was one of the biggest differences rules wise between college and the NBA at the time.

No descent centers in today's league. Most big men are out in the perimeter to defend three pointers clearing path for Lebron for easy dunks. Jordan vs Kobe might be better highlight comparison.
Kobe literally played mostly in lebrons era
Ever heard of Rudy Gobert?
@@dio696 Yes he is descent. Any other centers you can name?
@@allenpyi Bam Adebayo
@@dio696 He is small. He is like one of many power forwards. I don't think you are getting the point. There is so much spacing in todays NBA and the centers are not like that of 80's and 90's that regarly block any player that come close to basket. Simply there were more of them and they were better at shot blocking.
haha Lebron has been in the league for 20years and these were pretty much most of his HIGHlights(admittedly some are missing), but this is just a trinkle of the jaw dropping highlights of Michael Jordan and he wasn't in the league nearly as long. But you know...just built a dynasty from a crap team, 10 SCORING titles in 12 years...TWO threepeats.....6championships...6Finals MVPs...5 NBA MVPs, multiple Dunk Champion...much more physical era...etc. etc. but Lbj wants to call himself the "best to ever do it" cause he was mega successful in a less physical, less defense played, more rules implemented to support higher scoring, flopping, flailing, travelling, roll on the floor like ur going to die cuz someone tapped u in the face, run behind screens and chuck up threes, shoot as many threes as possible percentages be damned, just an extra bathroom away from merging with the WNBA, soft ass league. lmao ...and some fools even get on board with that...lmao unbelievable. And as easy as the league is now in comparison, he STILL aint came close. 4 rings while bouncing from team to team chasing other superstars to play with to win rings with far less acolades in 20years? pfft!

I have been all over the internet searching or Lebron highlights. None are as impressive to me as any of MJs, especially the mixed tape, especially considering that Lebron has 3 inches and 60 pounds on him, and MJs offensive and defensive highlights are against the greatest players in the world and a lot of Lebrons are against role players

"Jordan thrives against physical ol defense" yet that "physical ol' defense" was atrocious if you actually took time to look at it...
"Jordan wins in 1997 despite suffering a flu" because he had an incredible team around him against a team that somehow managed to only score 54 points in a finals game...
"Jordan wins 1998 despite pippen injury" because the jazz were hot ass that whole series... put jordan in place of lebron in the 2014 finals and he's getting blown out every game. Dwyane wade and chris bosh were both injured and the supporting cast was not there for miami.

James est un joueur de basket extraordinaire mais jordan est un dieu pour ce sport
