God's River Lodge 2024

Never having caught brook trout in my past, I wanted to experience some of the largest available in North America. God's River Lodge in NorthEast Manitoba did now disappoint. www.godsriverl... In 4.5 days of fishing I was fortunate to catch over 50 of them in the river, 12 being masters (over 20 inches) with my biggest being 23 inches. I also did an amazing flyout to their private lake, Semmens, where I caught 80 or so Northern Pike, every one being over 35 inches with two being trophy at 41.5" and 43". This was the most amazing day of pike fishing I have ever had so far. The lodge is in a unique location being right on the mouth of the river and lake so both fishing experiences can be had. My guide David (DeDe) was the best I have ever seen in a river scenario, carving up the rapids without evening batting an eye. We went close to 40 miles up the river! Accommodations were comfortable and meals were served buffet style. Pricing for this trip is extremely reasonable as well.
