Today is a great Day for ps1 crash bandicoot. Just because i don't like crash 3, but all the new prototypes are great. I hope in a future we will get early builds of Crash bash. We only have the demo inside spyro 3 and the beta/demo. Who can be find even in cold rom.
My little notes: Thank god Cold Hard Crash was moved to Warp 4 I just can't imagine the red gem on Turtle Woods, although the blue gem fits with the snow levels I always thought Rock It was too easy for Warp 5, was it intended to be on Warp 2? Or even maybe Warp 1 since you can see the JetPack in the game cover? And finally, I'm just so confused about the Taz Tiger portal having a cristal and two gems lol
What a fantastic find. I have never though to look up and see if there where old demos. That way i can see who the game looked before it was finished. I think the laser sound effect of the baddies is different in the complete version? well thay sound different here in the demo to me.
Is there a list of all the level values? I saw one for the Crash Bandicoot E3 Build. And I guess Sewer or Later is 10, Hangin' Out is 13 and Ruination is 15?
The list is the same as the final game. You can also check the level number in the level's data name. If you are looking for a level modifier, there is one in the description.
it isn't really ray traced, its just a copy of the stage. game devs would make a copy of the room/place then place it under the reflection spot, then they would have a copy of the play model that is synced up to the real one. you can tell that its not ray traced by looking at the sky reflection. in the level the sky is a bright shade of blue. but in the reflections, the sky is much darker. also I don't think a game from 1998 could handle """""""""""rAy TrAcEiNG"""""". anyway I hope you are joking :]
It depends on which emulator you are using. I was using ePSXe, so I had to create a txt file using the serial number, paste the codes, then activate it in the emulator.
@@Darkaiser how exactly do you do this properly? I'm trying to do this with my ePSXe emulator but I think I'm doing something wrong when trying to make a txt file & transferring the codes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏
@@terrygames8409 The name must be "SLU__021.40.txt". Inside of txt file, you write #INSERT NAME HERE, then paste the code below. Repeat the process for each new code. You need to enable them manually when booting the game. Example: # Unlock Elevator 800673CC 0001
Warp room 1 requires a cheat code, while Hangin' Out, Sewer or Later and Ruination are only accessible via hacking. There is a level modifier code in the description, just change the ID to one of the them
