I love the idea of training the LLMs along the lines of the fiduciary standard in the financial markets.

Sir, you raised a fundamental question in all of this, a wonderful start point for the legislators who seem to be lost at where to start. The question is "who owns the data???" and how is that ownership being regulated ?

Props to the VT100 terminal as a prop, older than 99% of this video’s viewers. I primarily used one with an 11/23, UCSD Pascal and DIBOL (DEC version of COBOL).

You would be surprise the now defuncted ancient IBM CMS back in the late 70 early 70's already had lightpen interface to guide interactive rocket lunar landing games at University of Toronto computer rooms and their other dept of libraey info science already using PARC Xerox Star mouse graphical interfaces that Steve Job and Bill Gate borrowed their GUI Window technology from... all old things can recarnate back in style someday

We used them back in the latest 80s/early 90s in our custom Datatrieve application running on our Microvax 2. Anybody remember FMS?

The singularity of AI will create a single perception resulting in a "lemming effect". If everyone has the same information and same analysis at the same time. Everyone will be charging at the same time in the same direction, resulting in extreme volatility.

Before I stopped dca-ing into my retirement account, it was 220k and has now depleted to 175k in the past year due to rebalancing I did out of fear uncertainty and doubt. What are best alternatives to take in other to secure a financially free retirement and achieve ultimate peace? I don’t want to fail after 42 years of working hard.

    • @simone_maya

If you want to rebuild your retirement by yourself, without the help of a partner, I will tell you it is near impossible. Even NewRetirement and co can’t do the job of an FA with expertise, a large following/client base and experience. Vet and hire one and begin to develop a rapport.

Do some research. The demand for advisors have risen more now than it did in the 90’s. At least their importance in an economy such as this can’t be understated. There are a good bunch as well as a bad bunch. You gotta do due diligence and use discretion. I work with Monica Mary Strigle sh’s big timer in New York w/ over 600 m worth assets under management

I am using llms to extract insights and create summaries. Generation is one aspect, validating and to be able to rule out luck and ensure no hallucinations at 100th iteration is a bit challenging.

If Robots/A.I. will take over and do everything, how can the common man invest with money he can't earn anymore? Is that a paradox? It seems financial markets will not exist right? Money will be meaningless because the work force works for free.

I have been an investor for just over forty years and see the clear advantages.
      Please watch Mo Gawdat,
A.I is very soon to be twice as bright as the most intelligent person on Earth.
In 13 to 14 years time artificial intelligence will be more than 1 billion times MORE intelligent than humans, and you think humans can out think this form of intelligence, maybe by then artificial general intelligence will be in bedded as well and A.G.I will certainly out think any human

      #ednan
The rapid adoption of LLMs in the financial sector poses significant risks, including potential misinterpretation of human behavior, which could lead to erroneous decision-making. As LLMs enhance fraud detection, risk assessment, and customer service, their reliance on vast data can introduce biases and inaccuracies.
A sudden shift in LLM deployment without adequate safeguards may destabilize financial markets, as firms could act on flawed insights or recommendations, leading to systemic failures.
Thus, while LLMs offer transformative potential, their integration must be approached cautiously to mitigate risks.

Do u really need to explain such basic terms as “hallucinations” and “fiduciary responsibility”. Five minutes of information stretched into a 20 minute snoozefest. I should just have gotten an AI to summarize the video for me 😂.
