Fun fact. That full sized Bee prop from 2007 is now on permanent display at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. He is the first exhibit you see when you enter the building. He is currently mounted on a turn table and would rotate so guests could see him from all angles. I am unaware if he still rotates or not. That ad fascinates me more than any ad for the franchise, past or present.

Yes, I did watch the show when Tommy was there hanging out with Optimus Prime as Prime would tell him the stories of each episode, and thinking how cool it would be to have Optimus Prime telling you his experiences battling Megatron and the Decepticons. As a matter of fact, Season 5 was the time I had seen THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE for the first time as a 5 part episode, where each episode would be as a to be continued, like the first episode ended with Megatron saying, “Their defenses are broken. Let the slaughter begin!”, and the second ending with Cliffjumper saying, “Jazz, we’re not getting away!”, and so on and so forth. But yeah, I do remember watching Season 5 with those cool intros.

This was the only way I was able to watch the 1986 Transformers The Movie. It wasn't in theaters in my area. It wasn't available for VHS rental or purchase. I set our VCR to record it in the 5 part episodes they broke it up in, along with Tommy and Power Master Optimus. What sucked is that my local channel would often preempt the The Transformers broadcast with local high school sports. So, I was missing a couple episodes. Hence, I didn't get to see the movie in its entirety until a couple years later when I was able to find it on VHS. Kids today don't know the struggle!! 😄
They got the scale wrong, but it still looked really cool. I would totally watch a Transformers movie done with a mix of puppets and CG. Done properly, it would be cool as hell.
It's still weird how they built this life sized Optimus head, chest and hand to advetise the toys, but Powermaster Optimus still did not make it in the cartoon.
G.I.Joe did something similar not with a puppet but with a handful of episodes featuring new intros with Sgt. Slaughter to freshen their syndicated episodes.
Surprised that Bayverse designs are so popular. As far as mecha are concerned they've always been a 6 pack of ass. Beast Machines tier. I wouldn't have wanted to see this but more of the Bee Movie forward stuff
I want to say the Michael bay movies are not live fully action because its uses so much CGI so its more accurately a CGI enhanced or CGI assisted live action! Edit: Bumblebee and Frenzy (when they're the puppets) are live action!
it is really, really annoying to me that instead of expanding the definition of 'animation' outside of the first things brainless people think of.. they just expanded the definition of 'live action' so those people wouldn't have to think.
Does anyone know what happened to the Optimus Prime Head puppet and giant hand? Is it in a private collection somewhere? What about the Bumblebee puppet?

This was the only way I was able to watch the 1986 Transformers The Movie. It wasn't in theaters in my area. It wasn't available for VHS rental or purchase. I set our VCR to record it in the 5 part episodes they broke it up in, along with Tommy and Power Master Optimus. What sucked is that my local channel would often preempt the The Transformers broadcast with local high school sports. So, I was missing a couple episodes. Hence, I didn't get to see the movie in its entirety until a couple years later when I was able to find it on VHS. Kids today don't know the struggle!! 😄
You can watch the Season 5 episodes in all their VCR recorded glory!!

They got the scale wrong, but it still looked really cool. I would totally watch a Transformers movie done with a mix of puppets and CG. Done properly, it would be cool as hell.
In tf1, megatron was a big statue in some scenes
Optimus Prime has an atmosphere so...
I actually knew this live action guy from rewatching g1 from vhs recordings
It's still weird how they built this life sized Optimus head, chest and hand to advetise the toys, but Powermaster Optimus still did not make it in the cartoon.
G.I.Joe did something similar not with a puppet but with a handful of episodes featuring new intros with Sgt. Slaughter to freshen their syndicated episodes.
I always have an idea to make a live-action Transformers tv show and title it as "Transformers More Than Meets The Eye"
Stranger things have been found, but I really, really hope we someday find out what happened to the giant puppet.
Si gue asi , ten suerte en tu contenido!!
Surprised that Bayverse designs are so popular. As far as mecha are concerned they've always been a 6 pack of ass. Beast Machines tier. I wouldn't have wanted to see this but more of the Bee Movie forward stuff
So cool!!
Man I was forgot about this one
I want to say the Michael bay movies are not live fully action because its uses so much CGI so its more accurately a CGI enhanced or CGI assisted live action!
Edit: Bumblebee and Frenzy (when they're the puppets) are live action!
it is really, really annoying to me that instead of expanding the definition of 'animation' outside of the first things brainless people think of.. they just expanded the definition of 'live action' so those people wouldn't have to think.
@@KairuHakubi Thank god theirs others like me!
Does anyone know what happened to the Optimus Prime Head puppet and giant hand? Is it in a private collection somewhere? What about the Bumblebee puppet?
G1= japanese design=superior, period
Coconut or Apple
Lol is that freddy fazbear in the background?
How is your day
they made an actual giant instead of a tiny prop scaled up in post madladd
I remember this
Now lets search if someone has the huge head in his collection, some rich youtuber which will claim that he doesn't have any money but managed to gets he's or her hand this live action prop!......They TRASHED IT you said?! Oh nooooo too bad! But still enjoyable to see that in the 5th season they had something like that, though i didn't also knew that had a 5th season with stuff like those! 😅
