K-On's the reason I'm proud of being left handed , why I chose to be my band's bassist/vocalist even though I love lead guitar as well and inspired my love for Jazz Basses , Mustangs and Les Pauls.
This seriously has some John Entwistle vibes at certain parts. The music team had pretty diverse musical tastes as you would expect, but the fact that they integrated that into the high school anime girl show is amazing.
Go! Go! MANIAC! is a hard song in general to learn. I don't have a bass, but I can tell this is pretty demanding and have yet to see someone cover this online. Drums are already difficult with needing the coordination, but at this pase, drummers like Senri Kawaguchi make it look too easy. Both Guitar parts are fairly easy (Exuding the solo), but I say that because I saw the tabs, and said "Fuck that all I know are power chords" and I (While not writing it down) transcribed the song into all power chords making it easier to learn, but this song is hard as shit. I can't say anything for keyboard though as I'm not sure how difficult this is for a keyboardist to play..
Agree, all k-on's songs are progressively getting harder as the Yui guitar skills improving and the show running to end. At first we get very basic and simple Don't Say Lazy just power chords and simple bass line that match the guitar key
I used to play bass so I was drawn to her. A shame they get playing wrong in the anime. I mean she is playing normal but yet the sound is slap. Cmon lol
