Thanks for the video. One thing hits me watching this video. Eket needs to improve its maintenance culture. Sanitation needs to improve in the place. one will notice that despite the investments, the too many shanties, okada gives Eket a rural outlook. the local authorities need to step up their game.
This is real development. The city is clean and the people are friendly. Unlike the East who loves showing mansions, this city is all about community and what the government is doing. The SE doesn’t have such. Well done.
The truth is that SE lacks good road networks like exist in Akwa Ibom or Calabar. But, Igbos build better mansions, business plazas, manufacturing edifices and residential flats. If they can match the Ibibios and Efiks in terms of road and recreational infrastructure, the SE will be a magnificent place.
But you don't know that South East has the best good buildings in Nigeria unlike every other places. Any little touch by government shows because of beautiful houses
@ugowilliams8437 there is difference between road networks and good roads, the road connectivity in south east is great but what you will say is lack of good roads but not networks
It seems God created Nigerians with so much sand. It is the reason why roads and streets in Nigeria is usually filled with sand. Just imagine those roads and streets without sand, how pristine and neat it will look. I think the government should institute an agency that will ensure daily sweeping and maintenance of the roads.
Akwa Ibom State government should dualise Oron road and Grace Bill road like they did with Atabong and Uyo roads
I know right
Eket is really developing, this video has help me have a fare knowledge of Eket town, is really nice.

Wow that’s a lot of work for the government, if only they’ll pay attention to the details
It's not a lot of work at all. Most of those officials are not just interested in doing there jobs.
