Jai Singh Rathore AKA Imran Khan is back after a while! I loved this conversation with him which gave me a lot of insight about his life and most importantly about where he's been all this while!
Let me know how you liked this episode!

I had taken my mother to Hinduja Hospital for an MRI. When we were leaving it was raining buckets. Coming down on the ramp to a waiting OLA at the entrance was this wonderful young man Imran in his hoodie. He patiently waited until my mom was out getting himself wet. I said thank you, he bowed & said welcome.
This clearly shows what a compassionate human he is. I wish him all the love, luck, peace & may all his dreams come true. ❤

The last thing I expected to see here was conversations on late stage capitalism, hustle culture, and moral codes, brilliant episode. So very refreshing especially coming from a person from a nepo background, to go in such depth with these topics. Very grounded actor, Imran Khan. A childhood favorite (Jaane Tu) I'm never going ro forget this interview thanks Faye ❤

Now everyone learned to be intellectual - that is the training. Imrana always has been a limited actor like Boby. Give a versatile role to Boby- he will poop in his pants.

It's such a relief to know I'm not alone in this. School was a nightmare. I was always labeled a "duffer" and treated like I was some kind of criminal, while the smart kids were put on a pedestal. It's messed me up so much. The way the school system is, and then add bullying on top of it, it's ruined my life. I've pulled away from everyone and everything. I've tried therapy, but it hasn't helped, and I can't afford it anymore. Your show, Faye, is like a lifeline. Thanks a million for creating this show. 🙏🏻

god school made the beautiful childhood days hell , just imagine a child who is innocent , but just because he / she is bad in studies being treated like a criminal . sick teachers . they dump their frustrated life on the students who are not up to the mark . i agree 200 % with u

And it’s is also so important to raise a point about therapy too..thanks for saying therapy didn’t help because not all therapists detergent a patient.. it’s such a scam. Finding a good therapist is insanely expensive and bad one can make you more confused

Always found Fay to be among the more thoughtful, calm (very calm!) and well researched journos around who asks insightful questions while maintaining civility and decorum. It’s sad to see good journos like her not get more recognition (and views) like some of her peers who only scream, shout and chase after sensational stuff!
But this format she has been doing lately - intimate interviews with known people- has been very effective. Her thoughtfulness and sensitivity is on full display and it’s clear that her subjects are very comfortable to open up and have a meaningful conversation. I loved the KJo interview, looking forward to this one and many more.
    Congrats Fay!

There is another philosophy which is equally genuine and justified, that says, "Live life like you're going to die tomorrow." Live it up each day....life (mortal) as we know it, is finite after all.

Timely conversation to talk about the "unsuccessful" stories and the strong social conditioning we weigh on ourselves. One point though, FYI, corporal punishments still exist in many schools, even in cities. Those who can't imagine to raise a voice, still live through them, continuing to "produce" broken humans into this world.

a great conversation and life lessons by Imran, resonate alot with his approach. As a young parent myself, I really go by living in the moment, not over thinking about my childs future, because the present is what matters to me, to raise my child as a good person to there emotionally most importantly than any other pleasures i can secure for him/her. a saying I came across saying something along these lines
'you are raising your kids for a future that you dont know about'

Such an intelligent and nice guy. I’ve wondered often about the people like him from film families who didn’t achieve mainstream Bollywood success but chart their own unique path. Twinkle Khanna, Abhishek Bachchan and Saif Ali Khan come to mind. Maybe they were luckier than most to be launched because of their pedigree, but I admire that each one stuck around despite early failures and still practice their art their way. Nepo or no, I love when someone persists and makes art no matter what.

I loved imrans thoughts , but also its not real , its perception , our mind can keep us caged , we need to live in the real world and be able to live our dreams. Living your dream while not living in the real world is detrimental to mental health, family life and may have been the major contributor for his divorce
If you chose not to work because your time was important, what did you do with that time? Why is your ex wife not with you if you had a good time? Although I love imran and love his and loved this conversation, his principles seem odd. A life only of pleasure without work is not good just as a life of only work without pleasure.

I wish everyone gets to this awakening point of how much is enough for them. This way we will stop consuming more than we should. Start living our lives with more meaning instead of chasing for more. The consuming culture is making us savage and its good to be on the side of sanity and see people who are sane and opened their eyes to the truth. Maybe this way we have hope for our home our mother earth.

He is one star who doesn't mind not being in the limelight. He got bored with the superficial nature of stardom.
    Not too fame money hungry.
    Stardom can be exhausting.
    Not everyone likes that.
Some people just like to act and be part of movies.
Some know what movies to do fr bread and butter and what to do for their creative satisfaction.
4:47 takes guts to admit it
Once the financial security is there then one can make the choice.

Could see Faye dsouza going all guns blazing and putting imran in the tough spot for the first half of interview... Untill the half way she realised how well articulate Imran khan is and slowly mellowing down the tone & questions and sharing her own societal fears ......
slowly in the end imran quoted her initial question.."How much can be enough"..was put back to her beautifully ......without saying directly how Ludicrous her initial question were....😂😂😂
one really needs to have a calm mind and truly authentic experiences to give such unscripted interviews...respect👍
