    The thing I like most about the $10 angle grinder is that for $20 I can have a grinding disk on one and a cutting disk on another, and not have to constantly be switching back and forth. I'm not going to do that with a more expensive grinder, so that alone makes it worth the purchase.

    Likely correct on the work table so I took an older dining table that is solid all the way around and will put a metal top on it and I'll have a great workbench even though no drawers.

    Anybody know when the motorcycle lift table goes on sale, or if it ever does? BTW, the quality of the welders are far better now than they use to be years back. If you haven't ever welded but you want to learn, flux core welding is a great place to start. It's easier than stick. Once you master flux core, mig will be a sinch to learn. Tip of the day: Any mig welder can be a flux core welder.

    • @wildbill23c
      @wildbill23c Рік тому +1

      I started out with one of the $100 Flux Core welders, it works fine for what it is, don't expect long run times with it of course, but it'll get the job done for light duty DIYer stuff. I do have the Titanium Multi-Process welder now, haven't messed with it much, other than ran some test welds with flux core as I didn't have a shielding gas bottle at the time....I do have the CO2/Argon mix now so I can do the true MIG welding stuff with steel...I want to pickup an Argon bottle so I can weld aluminum as well, but man the shielding gases and bottles are ridiculously expensive. The Titanium series is a pretty nice step up at Harbor Freight....the Vulcans are really good if you can justify the extra cost....comparing the Vulcan VS my Titanium, the only difference I could see was the duty cycle on the Titanium is shorter, other than that the rest of the specs were very similar, almost identical. The Titanium and Vulcan multi-process welders will run on 120V or 240V as well.

    • @Tarkay-hs6jl

      They're cheap Tin-coated drill bits. They wear out fast if you try to use them on steel of really any flavor, let alone trying to drill out a bolt or something similar. If all you use them for is wood and plastic they aren't bad. If you need drill bits for steel or harder metals then the money is much better put towards a set of cobalt steel bits.

    • @KrivTheBard
      @KrivTheBard Рік тому

      @@Tarkay-hs6jl Gotcha! I mostly picked them up for around the house kinda stuff, so I imagine they'll just be going through drywall and wooden studs. I'll be sure to get some better ones for my real tool bag then :)

    The last 20% OFF no exceptions (one item)

    BUT....But....but... the clerk said NO.

    BAIT AND SWITCH
    Harbor Freight must FIX THIS & make this right with me!!

      As for your bait and switch, read the coupons they say exactly what they can and can't be used on.

      @@timsawyer7443 because to me and for what my work and hobbies one of those wouldn't last til lunch. I prefer and require 11 amp, 13 is even better. • @timsawyer7443

      @@jimprine7522 that's certainly fair enough - for your needs - but to say that he "lost all credibility" just because he likes one inexpensive tool that doesn't happen to meet YOUR needs is just kind of extreme, IMHO.
