    People in these comments are seriously missing the whole point of her story. She was being objectified as a CHILD. that’s NOT OKAY. She’s allowed to embrace her sexuality now that she’s an adult, but she’s also talking about the serious issues women go through by just existing. Even straight up children experience it and that’s fucked up

      Finally someone sensible in these comments - people are also forgetting that it's about CONSENT. NOBODY consents to being catcalled at any age, but she does consent to doing adult work because she's the one actually doing it. And before anyone comes in with some dumb bullshit, kindly eff off

      First of all normal men don’t do that which means either she’s lying or she’s allowing the tiny percent of weirdos to dictate her life and future. The reality is she’s a cornstar because it pays and needs the justification of being “a victim”. It’s really that simple.

    • @brucegilbert625
      @brucegilbert625 4 місяці тому +2

      @@aquaphoric4526wow you sound like a pleasant person. The reality is catcalling is a broad spectrum of interactions. There’s obviously a difference between “hey beautiful” and someone yelling or following you. Women who want to disguise their misandry want to say it’s all the same but that’s obviously not true.
      All the time things happen without your consent. Most consent is implied or body language. If a woman dresses in a fashionable way or is scantly clad that sends a signal “I’m looking for attention”. Which is why even Anthony got catcalled.

      It's a power thing. It's not about attracting a mate, it's about showing that you are in a position of power over the person you're harrassing. That's why 95% of the time it's guys with a group of their friends. They're show boating for their mates while also having the security of being in a group so they can't be stood up to safely. Similarly with someone in a car. There's no way any consequences can happen
      I'm not saying that's a conscious choice for most of these people, I think most of them don't really think why they do it.

    Too many people is missing the point here, which is no matter if you choose to be "objectified" or not, people still gonna do it, even at the age of 9 when youve never ask for it. Just because she work in the industy, its not her fault that she got objectified, except she just accepted it since it benefits her. Its the people, the down bad guys. If the soicety never objectify anyone, she wouldnt have done that to herself. She knows what shes doing and its sad that people keep falling for it. I don't know why people aren't willing to show actual catcalling.

      Okay, so I never catcalled to anyone, nor have I ever been friends and talked to anyone who catcalled, and now that I think about it, I never even witnessed catcalling, and I lived and walked around the city daily (btw not an American, so maybe it's a local thing, although I doubt it)
      I'm saying all of this to make it clear that whatever I'm about to give you as an answer right now, is based on little more then just "I'm a man too, so I'm gonna try and relate", combined with whatever little psychology I picked up in my years on YT. In short, I'm not a reliable/factual source.
      With that out of the way, if I had to guess I would say that there are a number of reasons that come to mind, and they all come down to the single fact that men almost never get complimented in their lives, that makes complimenting, or any positive/affirmative interaction with others something they view as deeply desirable, and at the same time completely alien.
      Which leads me to believe that they just try to compliment/flirt with the woman, they do what they want women to do to them (or at least what they think they would want), that is probably the most positive reason you could have and I imagine it all comes down to it.
      Note that even with this reason, it is not a healthy behavior, men who "flirt" that way probably have other motives like asserting dominance in their group, which is done from a place of deep and subconscious insecurity, which would probably be at least partially caused by the aforementioned lack of outside affirmation.
      Again, that's just my guess, but as a fellow men, I can understand where they are coming from if that is really the reasoning behind it.

      right because she had a choice back then....
      she has the choice NOW, the key concept is CONSENT, she can make the choice, not be forced into it
      also disregards the fact that women get catcalled due to society grooming it's acceptance until the 80's

    Not really sure what to think here. Amouranth wants to complain out one side of her mouth for being objectified while the other side has her doing live streams in a kidde pool with essentially nothing on and is now very wealthy for it. Rather crappy position to be putting oneself in, surely no shame at all.
