- ***Learn exactly where I fished in Puerto Vallarta by downloading my PDF locations guide myfishingcapec...
This November my wife Lauren and I are staying in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where I will be working and fishing for mahi mahi and whatever else I can find. In this video we are fishing on a local panga boat, in the Los Arcos area of Banderas Bay, Puerto Vallarta, for mahi mahi (also called dorado or dolphinfish).
One major benefit of the internet is that it allows me to carryon my day-to-day business activities from anywhere in the world without issue. In fact I sometimes find it easier to work abroad than at home, and my productivity will oftentimes increase. For the next couple of weeks I will be blogging from Mexico, where it is currently 80 degrees, sunny and flat calm.

Watched a great video
I’ve been with my Mexican wife for 10 years and cannot speak a sentence of Spanish
LOL! ✌🏻
Nice mahi and really enjoy your videos!!!! Looking to do a charter with my family of 4 in PV this year. How did you like the charter and will you recommend it for 4 people? How far did did the boat have to travel before start fishing and were you targeting any particular species? Like to get an idea how much time you actually fish on a 4 hours trip. Thanks.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! I think it would have worked with 4 people but obviously there’d be less space on the boat. We were only a couple miles offshore so we probably got 3hrs of fishing time in. We were targeting mahi.
Excellent video papa and good try in Spanish.... you speak very good and I can understand very good your Spanish....
Muchas gracias mi amigo! Hablo un poquito de espanol. Tu hablas ingles muy bien tambien. 👍🏻
Super fishing at P.V.
I agree Dale, we had an awesome time ✌🏻
loved it dude......great video. dm once again in PVR
Glad you enjoyed the vid! Do you fish in PV often? I plan on returning again sometime.
Awesome video. Do you have captain Juan information?
Thanks for watching Carlos. Juan's boat had "Vikingo Charters" written on it, so you might be able to get in touch with him via this website vikingocharters.com/
Was this the 4 hr or 6 hour trip?? I'm going on 2 weeks, planning on doing the 6hr with this charter!!!
Nice, good luck! This was a 4 hour trip
Did you get to keep the meat?
Yes! It was awesome. 🍽
What time of year was this?
That was during the third week of November
