First time playing bloodborne and I almost completed her quest line without realising. While she was bleeding out, I killed her because I thought she was an enemy who waits for you to pass by.

One thing though, if you don’t help her defeat Henryk at the Tomb of Odeon before you defeat Vicar Amelia, you won’t be able to for the rest of the game and you will have to fight her personally at the Grand Cathedral.
This saved me so much time no one else was talking about her just not being anywhere after killing Amelia so glad i am not alone or crazy. Been trying to find her and Henryk but nope

So she's never standing around the Tomb of Oedon until after the fight with Henryk. That's what confused me because I could've sworn she stands atop the stairs above Henryk some time after he appears. Maybe there is a way to do that with or without cheating, but I would never figure it out

Dude, you left out a load of conditionals for doing her quests right and didn't mention youd be attacked by Henryk as soon as you go back to Gascoigne's boss room. Also didnt mention she can die so easily even though I helped her against Henryk. I killed him right after she died too... dammit
Same, I was expecting her to be there as in the video but henryk just jumped me and killed her and now Im sad Ps: henryk is strong, so if you went there underleveled like me, just go down the right side and hope she doesnt come w u.(go down from the cathedral odeon bonfire)

I found her in the first location. She wasn't at the second location though. and there's no other hunter at the Oedon tomb. I have gone up to the Forbidden woods lamp and now I can't find her anywhere.
I don’t think some things were clear enough for newer players/people on their first play through, being unsure of what each location is and where they connect. I also think some people come to see the quest line itself, and this video only points you into the direction, lacking the visual representation. My main gripe was the audio balance, trying to figure out what hes even saying and where he was going with all the video cuts that are relatively out of sync with what he’s talking about at times.
To be clear I didn’t dislike the video and it absolutely serviced me, I can just see how the dislikes have piled up as this video is from a much different time on the internet 8+ years ago

I got the guy at the end of the quest to half health then he parried and on hit me. When I walked back into the cathedral to get my blood echoes he was already dead. 9/10 gg Will be doing the quest again in ng+.
There’s a lot of people bringing up the dislike ratio here. In my opinion, the reason is that there’s no actual gameplay of the quest, only of the areas the quest takes place in, while he explains it in voice over. People come to UA-cam walkthroughs for the actual gameplay of the steps, if all they wanted was to be told what to do, they’d go to the wiki
What he's saying for the second part is: You need to open BOTH the gates, and then meet her at Gascoignes area. It's confusing because he's talking like it's step by step, but the video is showing three different areas.
I can't believe I missed her....got to lvl 30 before I realized it lol...I got the league oath rune off my man bag head but I woulda preferred the hunter of hunter badge. 😑

In my eyes skipping the quest has the best ending because you don’t betray Eileen and respect her wishes of staying away from Henryk. Resulting in her being hardened by the fight enough to kill the Blood Crow, fulfilling her duty. It’s a shame she succumbs to bloodlust after this and you have to kill her… But she did really well to last until her old age before going crazy. 🤷🏼
so I talked to her then beat papa G and I have not beat the cleric beast or the third boss. can I beat those bosses then help her in the tomb of oedon?

Here's a tip, never help her with henyrk. After you do that and kill Rom she will go batshit crazy and be hostile.
What if you have never talked to her, will she be outside the grand cathedral after killing rom during the blood moon?

TheChannel76 If you talked to her in the beginning before fighting Father Gascoigne then she will still appear after you have defeated Amelia.

You don’t seem to know much of the lore do you? The hunters name was Henryk by the way, he was Gascoignes comrade and grandfather to his children.
I just kill things when it comes to these types of games lol. I'm just too lazy too read through and piece all the stories together :x
