Mounted the kit today and here are my thoughts:
- I got a new version where the rear sight doesn't need to be removed (just the screws). I first checked this video and the instructions and they were NOT updated so I spend some time figuring out why the whole housing was not being retained (event scratched it bit due screwing too much one of the rear sight screws).
- The plastic doesn't look sturdy and some parts as the stock feel flimsy. Obviously the price tag is not high end but the quality could be improved. Nevertheless, once everything is mounted, it feels nice with no wobbles at all.
- I almost broke the flash hider when tightening it (do not use tools as it's made of poor plastic). Ideally, the front piece should fit tight when assembled and should not need the muzzle to tighten it. Also, it would be great if the silencer/tracer adapter is included which is not.
- If you need to remove the bolt or inner barrel of the gun, you'll have to disassembly the whole kit, not a big deal but something to take into consideration.
- If you remove the screws or rails the golden threads are exposed, this could be improved as well (e.g. mounting black ones so it won't look "cheap" if you're not using the side rails).
Overall, not bad not great either. Hope you improve it in the future.
for the price of a whole gun, I would expect the quality to be there. Especially seeing as it won't have to add in the cost of the internals of the gun just the outer shell. Quite shocked actually because the fuku2 grip feels amazing would have thought this kit would be a similar polymer build or better at a price of £110
So the newer version you don’t need to remove the back iron sight?

@@sergibema2826 so pretty much the mount just changed? I have an old video of the ap7 I modded the mount so that I can put a metal upper since my plastic upper broke and rear sight broke
@@knightairsoftwarrior yes, the mount that attaches the gun with the AP7 body changed in the rear sight part.
Mp7 at home. Seriously though I really like it and want to buy one but I think it might be seized since I live in Canada

Can the muzzle come off to add a tracer?
I think the front polymer screw for the silencer might get a lot of force on it. Hope it wont break.

Does it work with AAP01C or just AAP01?
I just got mine today. Install was extremely easy and everything dropped in to place and lined up how it should. I’m not to confidant in the stock tho. The rails on the stock really should of been metal, the plastic ones bend quite a bit especially when it’s fully extended. Please offer a stock with metal rails and a metal flash hider.
Does the charging handle work and how do you access the safety? Just curious?
@@FuriaRoyale yes the charging handle works as you would expect, It’ll stay closed while firing also. The safety isn’t covered by the body shell so you can access it like normal same with the slide lock.
The stock im still iffy on,but will still get this kit for my aap 01, ive always wanted a ggbr so getting this wont hurt my wallet. Will intend to use the stock but i will not have it fully extended
Everything comes included ? (Except the aap-01 ofc) cause i want to know if those screws and evrrything for the instalation comes with the kit

We have updated the #P17 part, now you can leave the rear sight on and no need to replace it

@@SHADOWTHE_EGG pull the tabs that you use to rack the slide back and look at the underside of the aap. You should still be able to see the fire selector mode switch still while holding the aap open.

AAP01C可以用該套件嗎?
I really want a kit for an aap01 but I'm struggling to find one thst fits my needs. This aap01 will alternate between sidearm and primary depending on where I go to play. I need a kit that does not require me to remove the upper of the aap. All I can find is that kriss vector looking one but that's not really my style. Are there any other ones that you know of?

Is the charging handle reciprocating?
Nope, The plate you screw on to the back of the aap01 only catches the charging handle when you pull the charging handle. The aap01’s blowback won’t catch when firing.
How could you attach a tracer?
you should make a new lower that matches the look of the mp7 more, cause that looks weird with he 1911 style lower. i mean the stock aap01 looks better tho.

Can i put a tracer on still or it has to have that muzzle?
They sell an flash hider with a 14mm neg thread on the end instead of the cage flash hider design you get with the kit. Since the flash hider holds the front cover plate on the body shell you’ll have to use one of those for a tracer.
