The LX 708 is disappointing in real life. I know, I own one. With headphones not too bad. The new SuperNatural sound engine is awful through the speakers. Nothing like the sound you hear on this video. Sorry.
bad the lx 708, i had one and its a hissing sound in the Loudspeaker if turn on. its really annoying!! and no thats NOT normal!! never again Roland!! if i would sell my coffee like this, i have to close my Coffee shop!
@@knives6683 yeah sure, but if the Seller and a techican from Roland or idk from where, said: noo we dont hear anything unnormal from the loudspeaker! else my 3 friends hear it too… what can i do?
@@RamingtonSteele hello I own the new lx9 and this model has the same hissing issue, from day one. A Roland technician came to look at the issue and he replaced the amplifier, but with no results. So I went to the store and in fact all the models have this issue so also the lx5 and lx6. Because of all the background noise it's hard to hear in the store but it is obvious in a silent living room. But he reported the issue and they are looking at either making an update or a new replaceble component, depending on where this issue comes from. This can take a while I think.
Very good video! In your opinion, is the LX 708 better or worse than the newer LX 6 in terms of speakers and keyboard?

You know it's still under an on-site warranty right?
