I swear I had one of those beach bombers as a boy. I had tons of hot wheels and toy cars, and I used to pretend they were people with personalities, and that one was a fat bloke who ate too much.
No Rocket Firing Boba Fetts were ever shipped out! The prototypes that made it out into the world were from Kenner's factory themselves as some of the employees took them home with them and later resold them. There were some that were eventually released in the Star Wars: The Vintage Collection line in 2010 as a mail-away but those are only worth about $100
I'm not sure WHY my parents thought a little kid would've wanted this but I have a "Walton's" metal lunchbox somewhere and I think it even has the thermos. I had a broken leg on a couch and stuck it underneath to level it. LMAO It's only mildly scratched though but I haven't seen it in years.
I don't have any of these, but I do have one of the first commercially produced skateboards made, back when it was still called a "sidewalk surfboard." I found it in a box of stuff at an estate auction.
me: this super man lunch box is getting a bit to childly for me... its still in good condition, so maybe i can give it away? later me: yt time.... *watches vid* .........................shit..........................
I keep meaning to go to garage sales, estate sales or thrift stores regularly. On eBay, there is more of a chance that someone has researched what they are selling, whereas in those other places, a lot of people are just cleaning out attics, etc., for whatever reason and don't really know what they have.
Actually, recently, a Pokemon Illustrator Card PSA 10 sold for about 100k, since only 10 were ever made and were given to winners of a contest (card art contest I believe), and about 2-6 are said to be still around today.
I think he's talking about things that you actually COULDVE gotten and weren't won In a contest. Like stuff that more than only 10 people possibly could've owned
The one that is valuable is sort of a factory error. There were very few that came out 2 or 3 sades darker than they were supposed to. I don't know how difficult it would actually be though to tell the difference unless you could put it side by side with the regular ones.
The 1990 Nintendo World Championship gold cartridge is actually worth more than stadium events. It's more rare seeing as there are far less copies that exist and it's part of Nintendo history.
OMG!!! Please tell me where I can verify the information and worth of the Superman lunch box!! I bought one just EXACTLY like the one you showed in this video at a garage sale last summer for my grandson!! Oh! What should I do? I can't take it away from him! But, if it's worth upwards to $11,000 I don't want to throw that away either!! Please tell me where I can find out how much it is worth. I live in a rural area, and I have no idea as to where I should go! Oh, wow! THANK YOU for this video!! LOL!!!
***** No, are you kidding...thank YOU!!! If I end up getting something even close to 11 grand, you can bet I'll be sending some to you (Yes, folks, you are my witnesses! LOL!)! Why? Because I would have NEVER known about it had I not watched your video!! So, stay tuned, and keep pumpin' out those great videos, my friend!! :-D
maya'smomhere: You and your grandson might just have an opportunity for some money making adventures, here, if ever I saw one ! Good luck to you two partners ! anonymousmom@live.com
I had a friend that had Stadium Events. His family was a bit weird. I'm not sure what religion they were but they weren't allowed to watch TV or listen to music. He was also home schooled. Oddly video games were OK. He also had a large collection of G.I. Joes, but had never actually watched the cartoon.
I have a TY bear with a Pompey (Portsmouth FC) logo on it from when they were our shirt Sponsors. It is in a plasic box with a certificate of creation and was signed by our then owner Milan Mandric. I think they used the same Royal blue material for some (as Portsmouth FC play in royal blue) but mine is white. Obviously not worth much but as a Pompey fan it has incredible sentimental value to me.
Someone sold another unopened copy of stadium events in 2016 for 40k. Dude never had the pad. And foundout it in his garage. After missplacing it meaning too return it. Since he couldn't play...
If you have just one good trustworthy reliable loyal friend in life ,then you are a rich man! If you have many of these friends, then you are a millionaire!!!!!!
I actually have one of those teddy bears and this is no lie I weighed the thing and I measured it and it has The Tell-Tale hole in the left ear and I really wish somebody would give me some information as to where I might be able to authenticate it and maybe even sell it
***** It took me some time to realize "boola-glitch" should in fact be "beweglich". the correct pronunciation can be found here - click on the speaker symbol right under the fifth yellow line ("Aussprache") www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/beweglich
Most English speakers I know of butcher TY. >_> I literally have never heard it pronounced 'Tie', in the last 20-ish years. Everyone I've ever met or who has talked about them says T-Y. So that's one that I don't think we should expect any english speaker to get correct unless they actually grew up around people who pronounced it 'tie'. As for mattel. Well...... It's a good thing I'm never hung up on how people pronounce words or I'd be more critical of that.
beweglich - it isn't easy to pronounce German words if you are trying using the English way of sounding out a word. But then the same goes the other way around.
When he was talking about the "Royal Blue Beenie Babie" he meant the elephant. They accidently showed the picture of the bear though which, everyone has.
I swear I had one of those beach bombers as a boy. I had tons of hot wheels and toy cars, and I used to pretend they were people with personalities, and that one was a fat bloke who ate too much.

The 1990 Nintendo World Championship gold cartridge is actually worth more than stadium events. It's more rare seeing as there are far less copies that exist and it's part of Nintendo history.
