    One of the Pumas we used for casevacs had those protruding sand filters over the air intakes. For some reason she was referred to as Jackie Bisset. A Deep reference. Stirring memories hearing that bird start up.

    Its just something about the puma that i love and idk what it is same goes with the royal navy's merlin

    I will always love this machine rocking sideways during engines starting up. A "twin engine, turboprop" helicopter.

    The military will always find a reason to put a poor soul within inches of death. That poor guy on the tethered intercom is one such poor soul!
