Batu caves has a lots of history. Batu caves was established in 1892 .There is a world biggest statue of murugan which is 140ft. On the right side of the statue have 272 colorful steps which you have to climb to go inside the batu caves.This temple was made by concrete and steel bar.For this temple paint they used 300 litter golden coat which was imported from Thailand.There also have ramayana caves.
There is three main statue which is sri Muraga Statue ,Hunuman statue and the new statue is garuda statue.
One of the main attractions at Batu Caves is the giant statue of Lord Murugan, a Hindu deity, standing at the entrance of the main cave. Visitors must climb 272 steps to reach the main shelter, which houses several Hindu shrines and is considered one of the most important temples outside of India dedicated to Lord Murugan. And these 272 steps are colored with so vibrant colors that will make you take a lot of cool pictures for your Instagram post, and this is actually a reason for people to go to the Batu Caves.
