Pushing Terrain in Bloxburg to the Limit

- Hello! Today we're experimenting a bit, the goal is to develop the most realistic approach for terrain and grades on builds in bloxburg. Obviously no method is going to be perfect, but we can certainly try. I found this to be incredibly useful, though in future applications I obviously will have to adjust the strategy.
However, it's hard to deny how well it turned out, some awesome terrain. - Ігри

This is still quite impressive and definitely a sign that you're serious about your goals cause even though it's so hard and sloppy in the process and anyone else would've quit, you still kept going in order to challenge yourself and finish the video in a satisfying way. That fucking rocks

I also played sandbox!! making terrain in that game was awesome I've always wanted bloxburg to add V2 building, But they don't have it so I usually use blankets.
I still adore sandbox! I never thought of using blankets, learn something new everyday lol
SANDBOX MY BELOVED
Sandbox was amazing, I played almost everyday after school in 2013. I remember one time I was talking to a developer and he brought me to a separate testing game and showed me the motor vehicles they had in development, way before they came out

I love the look of this, Definetely going to try and incorporate something like this into my builds. Would love to see a terrain tool like in roblox studio incorporated into bloxburg, like the transform and resize tool. With the new devs, definitely can see this coming in the future.
Completely agree! Terrain like that would revolutionize the game, it’s probably the last big thing really needed. Though I’m also hoping for attics and such in the future too!

You should call this terrain method “Triangle and Error” LMFAO. But jokes aside, this was such a unique way of thinking of how to innovate more ways of terraining in bloxburg, we have such a small amount of ways to create the perfect realistic terrains and this may as well be a re-innovation method for another method for us bloxburg building players to create the “realistic terrains”.
That’s a much better name than mine lol. There’s always more techniques out there, I myself have learned of several just from the comments here 😂

Wow incredible, this reminds me of the old building techniques used on build a boat for this same kind of terrain, you should check out their creations and see if it applies on this game too!
I’ve seen several boats, I assume this is how they make their bows

I seen cities, circuits, mechas, even shreks house, u will see the best builds on their server's hall of fame

As someone who’s done this before in F3X games free handing this is insane. In bloxburg too?? Ngl I kind of want to try it now but I already know it will be hell…
It’s definitely worth it if you stick to it and see it to the end. Even if it’s just a space as small as this lol

i did this after i saw someone else do it, its a good way to make caves too

I'm not sure how well this would work for doing smth like this, but I'd suggest making a plane that goes upwards, then placing another one on top of that, rotate/move with transform + to your desired position, rinse and repeat till its big enough to fill the space, then turning it so its and placing it there (English isn't my main language sorry if it's off)
That would definitely speed things up, though you’d have to be careful with the final placement of things

what i did for copy and pasting is stack the basic shapes on top of each other 😃 before using the transform too to adjust them in place

if you build a small piece of the terrain on a cube you can copy that cube thats on the bottom (I think)
Also would you make a tips for building details? (idk if thats too vague)
I’ve thought of doing a building details tips video, but every time I sit down to make it, I don’t have much to say other than general advice of proportions and to learn an intuition for where detail should be, which probably isn’t particularly helpful for most people.

It might be easier with the “corner wedge” “horizontal wedge” “pyramid” & I suggest first making a flat platform and putting the terrain on it.

Bloxburg needs a toggleable snap feature for basic shapes, I can not count the amount of times I have had to stop and fix the alignment of my basic shapes so they aren't higher or lower than one another.
Yes absolutely! Where you can click on two edges or faces and it will bring them together would be especially helpful

I imagine another reason to build like this if you wanted to build something underneath the space.
That’s the best part, since it can be so compact, but it’s hard to manage all that (in the thumbnail I didn’t realize one of the triangles is sticking through the wall lol)

what if you just did a flat slope and made some subtle hill bits to copy paste and rotate on top of the flat part
The subtle hill bits that are copy pasted would probably be the easiest way to implement this over a larger area without breaking the bank
I’m actually kinda curious if it would have been easier if you just used the resize tool
I may have cut out those parts, but most of the triangles were resized, which is what makes it more of a mess than it’s worth, as you’re trying to resize to accommodate three different size sides perfectly.

Absolutely! They’ve updated the rods, now they’re configurable and there’s a massive amount of potential I didn’t even realize. I’m having to relearn the game again😂

this terrain method is obsolete compared to other easier methods such as the new ball/sphere basic shape mixed with other shapes but the payoff can be very good.
I have not seen that method yet, but I wouldn’t doubt that it’s way easier and gives a great result. The big thing for this is that I think it gives the most amount of control possible in where your terrain starts and stops
