I do prefer this version, But the Kelly Clarkson version isn't bad, and without her talent ADTR wouldn't have this song. And Obvs they think shes pretty decent because they used her song.. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it shit... @DeathOn3rdStreet seeing as Miley Cyrus has a Dad and brother who clearly can sing and has probably had a lifetimes worth of singing lessons, I really doubt she is an 'auto-tuned wanna be', I don't like her music, but still, she is rather talented :P

P.S. Some people get worked up over music for some reason, espicialy people who like this kind of music. It's just cause people seem to think it's talentless and they get defensive of it. But I agree that people blow these kind of things WAY out of proportion. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and we should all respect that.

@TheDisturbedfan666 Honestly, well when people think rap and this screaming stuff is music, I can only laugh really. Music takes a great voice, combined with instruments that make a sound that is pleasing to the ear. Rap has some very good background digitally recorded beats, but where are the guitars and drums man? Talking into the mic is not enough. This ADTR song is good up until the screaming or whatever the hell it is. But that screaming part is not music!!
@MesaaaaBabby85 I dont get what you fucking people dont understand, this video came up under recommended videos and I viewed it. Having never heard of this group prolly because they are in a genre of music that I have no interest in what so ever. I think this song is very well done, just listen to the intro for about a minute and 30 seconds into the song. The middle of the song is so out of place, its laughable really. I simply made a observation and you people started freaking out.
@mrpga007 That "choking on a bone" part was called screaming. I've heard many different kinds of music, and i dont make comments like that wen i find something that i dont like about the song >.> In this song, it actually adds a bit more emotion into the song. If you dont like it...Deal with it! Its a song, and their not ganna change that part cause one kid doesn't like the 'choking on a bone" part.

Why does a day to remember suck so much?
1) Jeremy McKinnon sounds like a prepubescent boy.
2) Woodward is probably one of the worst bass players ever to live on earth
3) Westfall and Denney have some alright acoustic songs but other than that all they suck too.
4) Bobby Scruggs sounds like Ringo Star with a Double Bass(for those of you who dont know, Ringo Star was the drummer for The Beatles. Very good band, but no skill drummer)

So she's not really gonna know every song she made. Just saying.. I only know that song by her. And that's only because of A Day To Remember.

@idkmyuser1 people who like this usually disagree with popularity, considering most people do not know music very much and will not put much thought into what they like, and there is nothing wrong with that. he was just expressing his feelings about kelly clarkson just like you were expressing yours about him, next time just rise above and don't say anything hurtful, bye =)
honestly, this is a really good cover, i can't say that i like it better than the original, but i like it about the same.. why is it such a problem for someone who's COVERING the song to put a bit of their style of music into it? screaming's hard... if you don't think so, look up how to scream videos on here and try it.. it's harder than you think.
Well regardless what's it's called, it's still seems a little "forced" into the song, as if they had a checklist of things to put in the song and that was just thrown in last second. I mean, it sounds good in a lot of other songs, especially by this band, but I agree with the bone-chokers. This is a really good cover regardless.
i searched this and i had no idea it was a Kelly Clarkson cover. i clicked and i was like no way when i heard the opening chords! i personally think its awesome, and im a HUGE Kelly fan. while they certainly didn't improve on the original, and the screamo part was certainly strange, i thought it was a very good cover

I fell in love with ADTR with Monument and Since You Been Gone, then I jizzed when I heard A Shot in the Dark, and 1958, and when I heard Start the Shooting, I went blind by its glory, lol jk, epic song though. And their newest album I listened to 120 times in two months, so kewtoo's ADTR

@IFreakingEatPeople even with that comment, Slipknot still have a great tune, great guitar and corey taylor can sing and scream damn well, sadily he lost his scream but before he was amazing and put most metalcore bands to shame.

@wolle1508 No need to ruin a perfectly good song with the kid choking on a bone. The song was going perfectly smooth and nice until that horrid 13 seconds. That said this is better than Clarkson;s version.

Ringo star is a good was part of a good band but he was not a talented drummer. The beatles were a good band, a little over rated, but still a good band. On the other hand A Day to Remember is not a good band.

It sounds kinda weird listening to a guy sing this, because it sounds like the thing a girl would sing. But really good! I think it's a little better than the Kelly Clarkson version

Whether you like the screaming or not (I personally love it), I don't think there's a doubt it in anyone's mind that this song is epic. ADTR is amazing, and Jeremy is a beast vocalist.
