Thank you Will, I have enjoyed every vid of yours I’ve watched, this one is no different. A nice pleasant Sunday afternoon distraction, once again, thank you Will.
There are many pieces of stone like flint and obsidian in places you’d not expect. I have found much of it in places where there’s certain types of drainage holes for rain and they use the bigger gravel, or lots of landscaping stones have beautiful chert in em.
I enjoyed your video you're very interesting and I hope you continue with more video! I definitely consider it of value , to me. Thanks loads, Will. Dan S from Michigan& Texas
I’d actually prefer to live like this… if I knew of the joys of this lifestyle earlier in my life I would definitely be somewhere like this by choice.. the finer things that appeal to me definitely involve the prehistoric ways of life.
In denmark where i live all we have is flint realy, you should try to visit "møns klint" there are flint bolders the size of a small dog and pure chalk forming a kinda sandless beach for miles covered in fosils you can collect
Yes, of course we want to know what you’re up to. You are a link to my ancestors in Wales. Think of the master stone workers besides yourself. I’m in the glacier drift less region of Wisconsin, USA. Many rocks here brought down from the North in Canada during that ice age. Don’t know of any flint rock around here, then of course I don’t know how to find it. Of course the natives made stone tools. The ones I’ve seen are cream color or pinkish . The is a lot of sedimentary rock here. Granite up North. But that seems ‘crumbly’. I just started in Flintlocks. I can buy your work and will do so. I think local natives had more like ‘clubs’. Likely Granite or basalt. They MUST’VE had sharp tools , but likely traded for them from the Apilantion mountains 400 - 600 miles to the Southeast of our Great Lakes area. Their flint tools must’ve been VERY valuable to them before steel came with the French
I wonder thousands of year from now archeologists finding your place and scratching their heads wondering why? This seems out of place in this society.
Watching is like therapy, calming!
😎let me calm your mind 😂😎

Hiya Will, you should definitely go and show the flints previous owners what you’ve made with it sometime - they might even go for a course 😃
Missed the Live but enjoying it now👍
So impressive. To take a material that had no use to make something that you could use as a tool. The skill you have is amazing.
It had a use. It was holding down the end of someone's drive 😂
Nice to see a man live his life as he wants

Absolutely remarkable. I hope you are as proud of your settlement as I am in awe of it. You thank for sharing it.
I like the idea of the second earth lodge. Like an Adirondack shelter, sort of.
You are an inspiration! Great video.
I can't believe that you got rid of all that chalk without breaking your dagger in half. 👍.
Your collection is incredbile. I loved the skulls.
Will is the king of the soft hammer, gotta make me one
Awesome Will. Now that's the best way to avoid the rat race of modern life. Love it.

That guy never did found out whether he'd be at the bushcraft symposium.
If shards are flying into the camera, what’s at the bottom of your coffee😳
They sink so it’s not a problem 😂
Brilliant
