Well… maintaining the health and well being of plants in a finch aviary is beyond my skillset- so except for moss and a few house plants rotated in, everything else is silk or plastic.

Fam. van Zantwijk i should be careful, the dead branches are the manzanita (arctostaphylos genus) and do not know which of the many species. The “trees” are not real, i made them from Pvc and purchased silk branches

Fam. van Zantwijk that is manzanita. The white branches are also manzanita but the outermost bark has been sandblasted off

It is 12 feet by 16 feet by 10 feet high in the center

Why do you need a permit for this?
Just a building permit so I could build it. local restrictions is all.
How much did it costs?
It cost a ridiculous amount and that doesn’t count labor (which was free as I did it myself). The materials have been very expensive to get
