Varun simply looks and sounds very much logical and neutral compared to all others. Others simply don't want to risk their money , as in , they will invest only and only if they are not losing money, and on the other hand, Varun is looking at the long term projections.
This business makes more sense to Varun due to the nature of his business. He can test the waters of savings market through these guys.

I think its not about the knowledge but Risk here, about their own image. This is a very risky business, and the public investing money in this app would already be poor or middle class. God forbid if the money is lost, it is really bad for their image. Most founders and investors will write it off as a loss in their books, but the news headlines, influencers, youtubers will address the company as " the company in which 'X' shark invested". And it will forever be attached to their identity. Remember in Season 1, there was this one company which had some franchise based model, then also sharks did not invest just because, in the aftermath, people will remember just them and not other invesors.

Inki target audience hi galat h, jo log local jewellers ke paas aise paise jama karate h, wo inke audience kabhi ho hi nahi sakte.
They’ll never be aware enough and also won’t trust either their platform or the jewellers on the platform.
Aur jo log aware h financially, they already know how to get returns using existing instruments like mutual funds.
Jewellers ka discount is for the name sake and everyone know that. How many times you have used coupons that come with gpay scratch cards? That use case can’t drive your business.

This business is good. Most of the people like investing in good returns. As they r giving 10% its a good deal for customer aquisition. As they have tied up with gold merchants this will be a good deal. Aman is still thinking 15-20yrs back. Now a days youth look for easy access and withdrawal and investing. This is how Groww acquired huge customer base. They also have this investing scheme. This is nische business.

Varun has to be one of the smartest money minded shark we have seen, he is accurate, smart and fast in making deals. We might see more of him in future, but if there's an investment/wealth management style of pitch, he needs to be there.

Too many flaws:
1. What if someday NBFC paise le k gayab ho jaye? NBFC me regulations ka bhi issue hai
2. A regular housewife might not have a cibil above 750 so again they will manipulate the docs
3. A regular housewife invests only with their regular trusted jeweller so it will not be such an attractive option for them.
Anyway this is just an opinion and I might be wrong as well.

I'm not sure but they (investers) knows much better than me. What I think is that, it's not that kind of business what they're saying, but it's simply an investment and return type of plan. If they get 12% return and after giving, they got 2% then it's too risky to go for it!!
