I'm a fan of 200X so I'm getting him. I believe his armour is from the "Lords of Power" version that was released prior to Origins, so I think it's cool they reused the armour from that to make it a little different, but I do think it's a shame the fur isn't painted.

Thanks for checking the review out! This is a decent looking Man-At-Arms for the Origins line. I think the 200x weapons work better for him. They are making a New Eternia Man-At-Arms in the Masterverse line next year. He kind of looks like the Classic 200x Man-At-Arms a bit!👌
Jusy found one today at Ross and love him. But you also missed something i missed too with the claw piece. It does articulate a bit if you havent found out by now. I did it by accident. You almost had it but you tried to articulate the older one haha. But the new claw moves like you tried with the old one.
Good finds on this figure at Ross. Yeah, I noticed the claw articultes a little while later when I messed around with it after my review. I think it was stuck.

Yes, it's a mixed wave when it comes to wanting newer figures. Spikor and SSSQUEEZE are definitely the stars and the ones that are most wanted. The other two are just variants for the person who wants to army build, complete the other figures with these characters, or make customs with the bodies and parts. Yeah, this one is also just okay. The difference in his overall look is not quite as different as say Snake Armor He-Man was. That Serpent Claw accessory is cool, the only 200X figures I ever picked up were the original He-Man and Skeletor figures from 2002 (still MOC twenty years later). Spikor and Sssqueeze are definitely the top figures in…what I guess we can now consider the final standard Origins wave before the Cartoon Collection “reboot.” Man…even though Mattel is still going to keep releasing the vintage figures on Mattel Creations, that makes me a little sad that they’re essentially starting over with a new Wave 1. Oh well… As others have commented, I hadn’t realized the armor was a repaint of the LoP version (I don’t have that set). I will say it does feel a bit weird to have 2 very similar figures released in the same wave. Should have been planned out a bit better. Other than Spikor, this wave is very…green! Great reviews as always! I assume you will continue to review the Cartoon Collection, or is that something you might skip? This whole change seems to be very divisive among the Origins fans, and is likely gonna cause some of them to call it quits unfortunately.

Yes it was strange idea to put both the this 200x Man-At-Arms and the infiltrator figure in the same wave for reasons you mentioned! Like the infiltrator, This figure is just Repaint or good for Customs and parts swapping. I would say SSSQUEEZE and Spikor are Top of the lists and the most valuable figures to us Vintage collectors. It is kind of dissapointing that the rest of the vintage figures are going to Mattel Creations for a couple different reasons. But I honestly think it's the best way for Mattel to be able to produce and tool the newer figures and make it worth thier wild. They are not gonna work well in retail as we have seen with many of the past Origins that sit on clearance or have poor distribution from the factory today. There are Many reasons for that! But in short I will Hopefully continue to acquire the Vintage Origins. I will always continue to collect and review certain Masterverse figures and I will probley collect the Origins filmation figures and review those as well! It will be interesting how the Origins line does with sales with the changes coming next year!
Cool figure but I’m skipping this one. Running out of room and already got a man at arms. I really hope they continue with the 2000 X adorations. Especially the queen Marlena that was teased in infiltrator guard card art.

I've noticed there are a few 200x figures in origins, what I don't understand is why this one has a snake men sticker on the bubble. I remember when they used to put stickers from each variant on the bubble, for example when they put the Lords of power stickers on. Seems off to me to not have a 200x sticker on the ones that are 200x designs.
Thanks for checking the review out! I think they want to change the packing look and design a bit like the 200x toys did with the introduction to the Snakemen. The newer Origins cards now mostly have the rise of the Snakemen art and stickers. It's marketing to push all the new Snakemen in the origins line and mix the figures with that faction as they are the new threat in battle once again.
It's really fun that the 200x weapon claw shoots out. I had a feeling the Origins weapon wouldn't because the way they seem to cut certain action features and those weapons Today in lines like the Origins are issues to bring to market because of child safety standards and rules. The best solution is to try to find a loose one from the 200x figure on eBay. Sometimes, they show up. But it's probably a 25 dollar part! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👍
That's what I don't get. They take out the missle firing gimmick because of safety standards but there are other toy lines that have missile launch features.
Hello Manchild! Nice Showcase! 👍👍👍This is a figure which i must see in hand. I am not sure with the painted colors if all fits together. It looks cheap at the first look. We will see if it arrives in stores... Kinda "underpainted" for a 200x figure compared to the "overpainted" Snake Teela.

Over $20 is way too high for repaints. I'm way behind on my Origins collection & some of the figures are impossible to find for retail price. Can't be wasting time & money on lazy repaints like this one.

I'll skip him entirely unless I can get him at a deep discount. The news that everything vintage toy style is becoming Mattel Creations exclusive next year, gonna have to be even more selective. I'd rather try to get every different character than variants. If they had included a Snake-Man-At-Arms head, I might feel differently, but alternate head seems to automatically make a figure "deluxe".
@deflepmarc Yes Technically, he is just another quick repaint with a different color suit and paying some respect to the Classics figures. I like Clawful, Whiplash, Webstor, and Spikor as some of my Origins favorites now!

The Origins will be going to Mattel Creations for sale only as far as the Vintage inspired figures for the time being.

I thought the infiltrator was really a pretty lazy repaint but this one I like. The best 2 is sssqueez and webstor.
