Please keep doing these podcasts, having these conversations, so many men are speaking up now, they’ve been silent for too long, I’m happy that you’re giving this conversation a spiritual spin! Because there are men out there, speaking, and they are a lot more cutthroat than these conversations. But men’s perspectives need to be heard!
Reid, if you do start a dating app...I'm definitely signing up! 😊 From what I see on your show there great men still out there who want marriage and are men of God and with integrity, good hearts, vulnerability, emotional intelligence, etc.
This really need to be listened to be heard by every human being on earth. No matter, if they are single, married, separated or divorced. This is such a honest talk. I thank God for you all. Your testimony is powerful. I'm sorry that your marriage did not work out. My marriage only lasted two years. I pray for my ex hunsband to find a woman who love him for who he is and that he be healed in jesus name. ❤
This was a great episode!! I learned alot from what was discussed. Keep creating great content.Peace, Respect healing, and blessings to all Black men as we try to show up as the best version of ourselves in our journey through life.
My dear Bro’s in Christ, thank you for sharing your heart and experience. You guys are loved, important and valued. Please know that you are forgiven and walk in it! No more punishment mindset ❤. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus ✝️. God bless
Powerful episode Brothers! Appreciate the vulnerability, strength and courage displayed by these men. Keep up these very important conversations. Our community needs them! God’s continued guidance and covering over you all!
Excellent podcast and I can relate to the guy who is 46 as that is what happened to me but in a different culture. I had no choice but to have an arranged marriage at 20, no sex before marriage as God won't like that so I didn't and living life a certain way. It meant spending 25 yrs in a marriage where I'm going along with it with someone I'm not compatible with! But the last 10 yrs I've worked on my childhood trauma and I'm now realising I need to get a divorce 🤦♀️ its the best thing for both of us, which is why I googled something about divorce and came across the podcast as I needed to understand it from a man's point of view before speaking to my husband. But omg I've actually learnt something about a different culture! As an Indian I've always thought only us asians have these pressures, but how wrong. Listening to this has really made me think damn it's not just us! On the positive it's never too late to do anything or start over, so my advice would be don't beat yourself up because you only know what you know until you know different 😊
I'm woman and I have been through the same emotions, anger, and unforgiveness of my actions. A got through this by forming a relationships with God. Reading my Bible and asking to understand man kind. I also took time to learn myself.
Chris, you are doing an amazing job with this thing! Thank you for helping men (and women) heal! “It sounds like you were trained to accept his judgment but not his love.” Those words sound all to familiar and the hope is that the young man will allow those words to penetrate his heart. Once he removes the anger from his heart, his relationship with God will begin to grow. Ask me how I know! 🙏🏽 Works!!! I see you hosting a panel discussion in the near future and I’m ready to purchase a ticket. 😂😂😂
Joey when you ask why God allowed you to go through what you went through with your wife. It wasn’t just for her to see. It was for everyone to see. You are an upright man. Just like Job, God was ok to recommend you for trouble. Because he trust you with the assignment. He trust you with trouble because he knew you would still praise him even in times of trouble. There is no greater testimony than the most upright men in the Bible. That was Jesus and Job who had done nothing wrong/blameless. So instead of asking why me, ask why not me? (There is no greater honor than for God to trust YOU with the assignment)😇 48:02
Being frustrating with a God is the unanswered trick because we are forced to believe that he has a hand in our human experiences.... The indoctrination of religion is the mental conflict that chain and bounds is who are effected by it
Lord, where are these caliber of SAVED men like this where I live? Wow wow wow this was awesome 👏🏾

It’s nice to see these men share their experiences and be vulnerable. They are human too ❤
