I picked up the Life Gear this evening at our local grocery store and I’m pretty impressed with it👍 The radio works really well and the tuning buttons actually go into a search for nearby FM radio stations, the speaker is really clear and the volume is quiet loud! I was surprised just how loud the volume is. The siren is very loud as well👍 The hand crank does a good job at charging but I found you need to switch to on then you can feel the resistance in the crank when charging the battery. I pulled out the USB on the short cable and plugged it into my power bank a a red light comes on just behind the light switch showing a charge taking place, I had cranked the generator a while before but the charging rate started out at 2w and after 3 minutes charging it’s down to a rate of 1.2w…I going to test to see how long each function works from a full charge to 0 charge and then 0 to full charge…Yes I’m bored but I have time😂😂
Thanks for the crank flashlight comparison. A light comparison outdoors on a dark night would be great. For me the keychain lights would be 100% all day long, for tool/tackle boxes, glove compartments, IF the price was lower. Best bang for the buck model has to be the Life Gear. Flashlight, charger & radio make it a useful item for camping or WHEN THINS GO WRONG.

If you want to take a shot for brightness comparison, you should set the camera for same iso setting so we can see the difference on the video.
