Superior Butter Chicken 😳
2lbs chicken thighs
3/4 cup yogurt
4 cloves garlic
1 inch of ginger
1 tsp turmeric
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp Garam masala
2 tsp salt
Cook in 1 Tbsp ghee
1 medium onion
3 cloves garlic
1/2 inch ginger
1 Tbsp Garam Masala
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 can diced tomatoes
1/2 cup cashews
1 cup heavy cream
Add back the chicken and cook for 10-15 more minutes.

I wrote this down step by step and followed this recipe today! I didn’t have ghee so I used butter, and I left out the cashews to make it a little cheaper. It still turned out AMAZING!!! Thank you so much!

Glad I saw this. I make my own butter chicken which my family loves, but never knew anyone made it with cashews. I have children that are seriously allergic so I need to be aware of everything at restaurants . Besides the at it looks really good. Recipes always ask for chicken breast but I’ve also made it with thighs and I’ve made it with a whole cut up chicken, bone-in. My husband actually prefers that. But I also always make 2 pots, a spicy and a mild so little people can enjoy it too 🥰
