So after going through multiple guides and other videos, this one pops up in my recommended. My best attempt previously was 67 turns and this guide got it down to 28 turns. Thanks you so much for this video, a much better strategy than anything else I used.
I did a slight variation of this using the same pairings you did. Thank you. That really helped. My characters were several levels below yours but with the slight changes I made to the attack patterns I managed to get 29 on the first go after watching this.
I did this at lvl 85 average but instead of Rab spamming Pearly Gates I used Kacrackle. Kills Phoenix and wizard in one hit and does around 3x the dmg to manticore & serpent. Also I pepped veronica/Serena before and one hit killed the first round with mega magic burst. I screwed up eriks divide/double down once & it Took 27 turns. Thanks!
It helped big time to go through all the time trials first, which i highly recommend to grab all the status gear from there(can't stress that enough). It's also important to switch weapons during these fights, which do not waste turns, and to use the weapons and skills, considering the situation at hand.

Hey, you left out the most important part of your video: Grind like hell to level everyone up to level 99, so equipment and, really, most enemy attacks don't mean sh*t. You didn't leave that part out on purpose, right? Oh, yes, you did!

It's a tremendous destructive power, your party members are very strong.
When I tried the final trial, the level of my party members was around 63.

What weapons were you using? I noticed for GigaSlash it was targeting both enemies, where for me it only targets one
Gigaslash only targets one type of enemy, but Gigagash targets all enemies

That’s the berserk blade. It can be brought in cobblestone after you rebuild it.

Bought it in a shop, Seers Flying Island location (forgot the name).

Sadly no, but it has a chance to give oomph at the beggining of fight.
It's bought at cobblestone once you've rebuilt it during the hidden sidequest.
Is defend considered an action ?
