What a great song. The soldiers must love this leader. We need these songs now more than ever. The pandemic has allowed me to browse You Tube and find beautiful music. Perhaps General Dempsey could sing Grace - beautiful Irish song. I heard it sung for the first time by Rod Stewart and it was so beautiful. Very sad song but beautiful. Slainte, USA and Sligo
It’s great to see that the West Point Class of 1974 produced such talent. (Oh yeah. I guess he was a pretty good leader of U.S. Army armored forces too.)
@@joebyrne3159 the qualities that belong to a gentleman are universal and President OBama is not short on these qualities. Sounds like Mr. Panda was being funny or perhaps he has issues with the Irish and therefore uses an opportunity like this to express same. I am Irish - yes, for generations past - but I have come to sort of understand when sarcasm toward another race is used!! However, I am quite happy with being irish and hope others are happy with his/her background. Am sure General Dempsey had to lead people from all races - his qualities as a gentleman, I feel, helped to make him a general. There is a book about the origins of the Irish and it is very interesting. There is another book by philosopher Krishnamurti who has a deep understanding and insight of and to the human race. Title:"Think on these things now." God bless you and your "one line" response to Mr. Panda - might I say "to the point!" Slainte.
@@margaretohara7250, thanks Margaret, we got Joe Biden now too, related to the Finnegans and the Kearney brothers that played rugby for Ireland. Nice scenic area Cooley, Carlingford and surrounding areas, Joe Biden was over before, probably again soon!
