If you go for lowest placement possible you can remove the entire extension pole. Thanks for the detailed review! Great sound as for a lavalier mic recording btw
@@RetroBigCat75 and it’s rarely seen on YT as well! That’s what amazed me when I found it. Not a lot of traction online at all! A little more now it seems!
@@CoZChristopher Despite having an 4.6 out of 5 stars on the product, the user reviews on Amazon website has been mixed (one review where it can hold the heaviest 🎤 like Maono PD 400X. But, other reviews complained that it can't hold Shure SM7B).
Thank you for the kind words, it works really well! It is a solid build and did have the opportunity to enhance on the Elgato offering! It also is priced a bit better as well! Thanks for stopping by!!
Best part of that video was when you covered up that hideous M symbol with the quick start guide… Go Bucks. No, in all seriousness, great review. I am going to add one of these to my setup. Appreciate the very thorough review of all the features. Curious if you are still using this today or switched back?
By the way, your content is amazing. Very well presented and thought out. You can tell you put a lot of effort and passion into it. Just a matter of time before some videos pop and you grow like crazy. Keep up the great work!
@@brettsasser hahahaha your comment was great until the M mention lolololol!!!! Yes I still use and will not be changing haha!! This mount opened up my face in videos and also allows for me to do keyboard sound tests just by rotating my mic! I can have it low or use it high by adjusting the arms and the cable management allows me to have multiple cables moving through there for testing XLR/USB combo mics or if I need to place a light on it for product review! It’s solid man, no reason to change back to the older style at all.
It does! It's super sturdy and holds weight up to 2kg or 4.4 pounds. I've test mics on here from various brands including all metal builds, I've had my Fuji XT3 on there as well with no issue at all!
I'm Using the Movo WMX-2! I actually am going to complete a vid soon on these, but here's an affiliate link should you want to take a look at them on Amazon: amzn.to/3HRW1Av

Thank you man. You showed me what I needed to know about this low profile boom arm mic stand.

The fact that Thronmax Twist S6 LP MBA can hold heavy microphone is crazy. I'll keep my eye on the product. Thank you for the review.

This looks like it betters the Elgato LP mic boom in a couple of ways. Thanks for the well presented vid! 🙏
