Great tips, Carol! Another one I have picked up is for rolled hems. When I do those on wovens, I cut thin strips of baby interfacing to feed in the presser foot on my serger. It ensures beautiful, clean edges. 😘

I will certainly follow your advice about the knit stay tape on the neck and armscye for future projects (to date I had only been stabilising the shoulder seams). Whilst you have indicated you use China silk on woven skirts as a lining fabric, what fabric do you use as a lining on knit skirts? Particularly if for example, nylon is not an option. Many thanks. 🌸
